If he's way closer, doesn't that mean he's jumping impossibly high?

The lighting in the photo doesn't look right for this to be true. It would have to be sunset for him to not cast a shadow visible in the shot. That is, unless he's really several feet in the air.
That implies that the person is actually really high up in the air....
I'm still confused by the lack of shadow in the first illusion. It makes me feel like he's high enough for the shadow to be out of the shot.
I am really surprised that I recognized the music from Final Fantasy 8. I loved that song. The game... not so much.
"Water's price per ounce surpasses gold."
I too am not a denier but our fire fighting tactics have not allowed for "natural" wild fires of smaller scale to clear out forests during the time frame of this chart. In 2013 the US Forest Service changed strategies to "let it burn" to remedy this problem.
Really, I think spinoffs have the same success rate as any other show. They still rely on the same solid components of story telling to be successful. Sure you might have an established fan base but the purpose of spinoffs is to diverge from the original content so that doesn't grantee fans of the old will like the…
That really depends on the theory of time travel used in the fiction. Clearly, this doesn't use a branching timeline model. It seems like the time travel is localized to only the contents of the ship and the ship itself.
What are some interesting and/or surprising trends in American family systems? What are their expected impacts?
So this trailer is basically a summary of the entire plot of the movie?
With a high score around 140 million means that if you don't have 2.8 million points by year 10, you won't make enough to beat those scores. Really, you'd need more because of the time it would take to place the bodies.
Police subdue extremists in DC ruins.
There have but it doesn't fix the problem with reliability. In fact, it complicates them. The thing with power is that it always needs to be there the moment you want it. If you have a wind farm or solar, they only replace a portion of the resource stack. Not only that but they typically don't line up with an energy…
Without innovation in electricity generation, Nuclear is really the only viable alternative for reliable energy sources, which most renewables don't qualify as.
In reading this article my first thought was of the obviously guilty reactions of my parent's dogs whenever they've done something they know they shouldn't. My second thought was how hard it would be to distinguish guilt from fear of consequences.
Unless it's disguised as an oil platform!
Someday money will be used again.
I think it's hard to argue that there isn't "power creep" evident in super heroes like Superman who went from being an athlete to a god.
This fight, for me, was one of the most disappointing moments in all of Fantasy. I say this as a huge LOTR fan. What should have been an amazingly impressive contest of will and magic was basically just old men grunting at each other.
