I’ve read numerous times that the cabin crew isn’t on the clock until the door closes. When a passenger becomes unruly it costs the crew time and money. I would guess their only response is to remove the passenger. Plus, the pilot isn’t inclined to have a passenger who may cause grief at cruising altitude.
