To be fair, Charlie Jane Anders did ask a bit of a loaded question. Most cable shows, like most network shows are dumb. Also, many "smart" cable shows aren't that smart and are just pretentious (I'm looking at you Newsroom!)

I can't believe Justice League is even here, so were even :D
The only thing that confuses me on this is that Superman and Batman are part of that team, and since they didn't get entries on their own, which.... they should have, I gotta go with Justice League.
I totally stand by Arrow as being a great show and it is amazing that it's on the CW. But I sincerely think it's good all around - acting, writing, production, action... the whole thing.
I mean, its basically Batman but with slightly less angst and more Arrows. But its pretty good so far...
Does the CW count as a network?
I love those characters and their interactions but the Justice League itself isn't necessary. I know I am hedging that quite a bit.
That might be the craziest thing I've ever heard. Justice League goes back to the 50s, basically creating the super hero team as we know it. Yeah, Justice Society came first, but still, it's been in the culture for decades to the point of having many different incarnations. X-Files had a few good seasons before…
X-Files more impact than the Justice League? Really? Based on what? The 90's?
Does the entry specifically refer only to JLU animated, or to the Justice League in any medium since the creation of the name in 1960?
Fucking AMEN. Batman> Fox Mulder
I feel your pain, by chance are you including the other Bruce Timm properties that lead directly up to Justice League (Batman/Superman Adventures) in your decision? How about Young Justice? Just curious.
Only about 100 have voted so it's too early to really get upset. That said, Justice League is a big deal, but I don't think it had as much of an impact as X-Files did. Thus X-Files got my vote.
It was basically cancelled. They pulled the plug on it a couple years ago.
Yeah, I was a little annoyed that the article doesn't say anything about that aspect of the story.
I WANT IT.
Note to men (and people in general): If a woman drives up in a van and asks if you are single and doing anything tonight DO NOT GET IN THE VAN WITH THEM. That is stupid. You are not that good looking. Stop watching so much porn. Life doesn't work that way.
