I’ve no doubt that he had his reasons for leaving, and perhaps there was even some bad blood there for a bit. But he hasn’t gone out of his way to burn the bridge or even speak about how happy he is to not be involved in the property anymore (like Daniel Craig did after Spectre, for instance). I dig that.
Will this replace Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter at the top of my favorite bad movie list? I can only hope.
And for being a good guy about it. He hasn’t (to my knowledge) said a bad word about Doctor Who or his time on it, which makes his refusal much easier to take.

I loved that the real world portions of that film were in 2D as well. Great choice by the director there.
