I would appreciate a greater range of body size and shape, this is a good start. But those mannequins look like real dolls and that's freaking me out a little.

Between us, Bill Gates and I have enough money to retire somewhere tropical. Mean, median, average, how do they work? Nobody in reporting knows.

I don't mean that it's depressing for them. I mean that the system is broken. What is going to happen because of their background and age is that they will be pushed through quickly and come out with more knowledge of how to commit and hide future crimes.

Right, but here's the thing, because of their background and age, they're going to just be pushed through this system and come out knowing more about what to do and how to get away with it. That's what needs to change. It seems like no matter what the situation is, where you started, putting a group of people like

Holism is simply the theory that whole entities, as fundamental components of reality, have an existence other than as the mere sum of their parts.

I hope these boys have some intense rehabilitation. They are absolutely a product of rape culture and, from their statements, don't believe what they did was as bad as 'stranger in the bushes' rape. Because of their backgrounds and ages, I really, really hope they can be educated.

Thank you for writing this.

I think what you said at the end, that schools are only a piece of their lives, is why this wasn't effective. I think it would be more likely to be effective if they were in a treatment facility where it was part of every aspect of their lives. But then deciding which offenses warrant that kind of treatment would

Wow, that's interesting! I just checked out the page. I hope this works out well and the movement grows.

I absolutely agree. Adult education classes should be a mandatory part of prison, IMO. Giving them a chance to change when it seems they can. Education in any arena is the ultimate tool of power.

Haha!

I don't know how read my comment and somehow think I approve of our prison system. I don't at all. I was trying to get a conversation going on what an ideal system would be. I think nonviolent crimes are treated way too harshly, a lot of them shouldn't even be crimes, and the punishment for violent ones ends up in a

Oh, I absolutely agree on that! I was thinking mostly of the crimes that (I feel, at least) do deserve punishment. It seems like, even without our for-profit system, there's not really a way to punish someone without turning it into a life long chain of repercussion that ultimately does more harm than good.

I'm all for Minnie getting some new outfits, but that dress is not doing it for her.

The prison system is so depressing. It seems like once you're involved, you'll be stuck in the cycle your whole life. I'm always reminded of that line from Blow, something like, "I went in with a bachelors in pot and came out with a PhD in cocaine." It applies to any situation, I think. Is there a justice model

I'm glad there are a lot of us out there! I'm 31 and I would do that if not for my small human alarm clocks.

Hi!

He is ruggedly handsome, isn't he?

Good for you! That sounds like the best break-up ever. Enjoy your wine!

Your undies are cracking me up.
