And when you need to do that you can play an old Famicom game or Little Big Planet. You don’t need a shaving or shitting simulator from Nintendo advertised by people who look they’re partaking in enforced fun.

I really want this game but the current prices are high and there is just too much coming out in March on top of my ridiculously large pile of shame already to justify it. Probably a summer purchase I think but I really like the look of it.
I don’t disagree with you. If you had the foresight to pre-order and the luck to get one early then why not take advantage of that?
I’m not a fan of the PS4 by any means. In truth, I can’t fucking stand it however I played this game last night and have to concede that it is awesome. I really can’t wait to play more of it and actually considered skipping work for that reason this morning.
I think it has very little to do with the law and a lot to do with regional pricing. There are very few region locked games that will work in the UK, US and Canada but not Germany and Germany has the tightest game censorship laws of any ‘free’ country. There are plenty of region locked PC games that will only run in…
Very few of them appeal to me anymore tbh and haven’t for years. I have a Japanese 3DS LL which I bought cheap from Ebay and cleaned up and I use that to play Mario Kart 7 online occasionally. Aside from that I feel as though I have kind of outgrown Nintendo products at this point.
Denuvo only becomes a problem if you have to be without internet for a while. It was an inconvenience on Doom because the Vulkan version required always-on connectivity. I find geo-based region locks to be a far more anti-consumerist measure on modern PC games than Denuvo could ever be though.
1, 2, Switch is going to be a great party game, dude.
Now how many of those Switches will show up on Yahoo Auctions or in Akihabara resale stores over the next 24 hours?
300£ paperweights are in fashion again...
I don’t think they even really use CEG much anymore do they. I personally see Denuvo as a small hindrance but PC gaming DRM platforms have fortunately come along way since the likes of SecuROM and StarForce.
I’ll be honest, constant updates bother me far more about modern gaming than DRM does.
You don’t need to since they will make money out of ad revenue just based on your views alone but yeah, I’m happy to agree to disagree. :)
What is wrong with finding a group of people that you can identify with and and can enjoy gaming with? Did you not ever have a group of friends you hung out with and geeked out about the latest games with?
I don’t know what VMProtect is but I thought you were referring to Denuvo or Steamworks tbh.
I mentioned several forms of what I perceive as damage in my response to BakaPenguin and I personally don’t find most modern DRM platforms to be intrusive. They have been in the past for sure but the current models aren’t all that bad.
So are you telling me that you only watch streams with no commentary and “community” personality cult bullshit? Because if that’s the case then I have far less of a problem with that and slightly more respect for you than I did before.
So far, I only see the potential for streamers to help consumers be better informed.
I wouldn’t say a thing. More like a conversation between me and a moronic prick who doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. Not the first such exchange and it undoubtedly won’t be the last.
The lesson is don’t just listen to and follow the words of ANYONE.
Look around you. Day 1 console bundles that include a webcam addon and force clip recording and streaming functions down the user’s throat, a Steam store front full of rehashed horror crap because it pulls in the punters, reputable games websites that had been going for years and were staffed by talented and qualified…
