You do what you do and I’ll do what I do.

What should I be taking responsibility for exactly?

That’s already happened. This article might not have existed if it wasn’t for me and it got people talking, made some fun for Stephen and the guy who was interviewed and possibly generated a little money for Kotaku in the process. I think we can put the issue to bed now.

No I don’t.

Please don’t mention that name. It’s like saying candyman in front of a mirror. Do it regularly enough and it will come back to bite you in the arse eventually.

I wouldn’t go that far and FYI my comment received over 100 likes so if I was being a dick as you say then there are also a considerable number of other ‘dicks’ who agreed with me.

Thank you but no.

Well aren’t you a treat.

I can’t believe you actually did this, that’s amazing. Well done.

But Dead by Daylight was delivered first and I guess that’s what matters. It seems to have had its day on Steam at this point as well.

I’m amazed that EA let them get away with it tbh. At least the game turned out to be decent in this case and Respawn aren’t trying to blame every problem on EA though unlike that other ‘partnership’ example that you mentioned.

Technically Evolve was the first. Weird that anyone would want to follow that game’s premise as well since it commercially bombed.

I came here looking for another Until Dawn and unfortunately just found a Dead by Daylight rip off.

I’m quite sure that’s true and Respawn would only probably do that if they had something to hide.

Not for the PC version.

What I don’t get is why it is exempt from the Origin Access program. You even get discounts on UPlay, Steam and GOG games if you buy them through Origin as an Access subscriber but not in this case.

No PC beta, no discount for EA/Origin Access members, no free access trial, no pre-release reviews, and releasing in the week between BF1 and Infinite Warfare. It was almost like EA went out of their way to doom the fates of this one.

I have a fondness for Uthgerd which means that I can never really entertain using another companion. I actually get a bit pissed off when some of missions force me to take someone else along and then I have to go back to the Bannered Mare to pick Uthgerd back up.

Isn’t it technically impossible to ‘finish’ it because it has some procedural generation that causes it to continuously make little fetch quests for you forever?

Fortunately most of my recent gaming has been on a PC using the mouse and keyboard and this game uses a pretty standard mouse and keyboard configuration.
