The dialogue options don't really explain much. The Catalyst's a holographic asshole monkey wrench that ignores much of what the player accomplished with the Geth.

You had to go do safehouse missions to get more pills; the first safehouse I visited glitched and wouldn't allow me to enter it, so I could never get anymore pills. So I was doomed to walk the plains and fall over every twenty minutes, with any of my mission progress going right out the window.

Fucking. MALARIA. WHY??

BioWare's original endings were the developers asking you how you wanted to eat your shit. The Extended Cut is BioWare's way of adding toppings to your shit to make it not seem so shitty, and the new Refusal Ending is your way of telling BioWare you don't want to eat shit, and them force feeding it to you anyway.

It extends the existing ending and shows the ramifications of your choice going forward. BioWare also included a new Refusal ending, where Shepard can completely deny the Catalyst's options, allowing the cycle to continue. There are also reports that this ending is automatically selected when shooting at the Catalyst,

Yep. I've broken my fair share of controllers. I haven't in the last year or so, which doesn't seem like much of an accomplishment. I've learned to just walk away from the game though and my controllers are all the better for it.

Played several hours of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier last night; the game is a lot of fun, but I expected a lot of futuristic equipment; for the most part, the squad's been fighting a lot of ill-equipped grunts and only recently have we run into hostiles with higher end tech.

I don't think they could have picked a better author to work on the extended universe and the final game's story.

Before 1080.

It looks pretty interesting; I'm not going to see it in theaters, but I do look forward to the DVD release and reading the plot on its wikipedia page. ^_^

I enjoyed Sessler's interviews the most; Periera was a close second though. I won't be watching Spike's coverage; Geoff Keighley's a douchebag. I have yet to see an interview with him where he doesn't try to finish the other person's sentences or completely interrupt them.

I don't think the content is on paper and fully planned out just yet; I think it's simply an agreement between Activision and Bungie that the former will fund and the latter will develop downloadable content in the off-years, not that the content is to be planned from the get-go and to be withheld until after the

Too Human performed like frozen shit at a pie eating contest, and Silicon Knights' city of operation hasn't come to a grinding halt. Cats and dogs still hate each other, there's only panic in the streets when there's a hockey game, and many publishers and developers are making bank by delivering solid day-one

I'm allergic to cottonwood trees, and they're all over my hometown.

1. Terminal (Modern Warfare 2) - Terminal was a fantastic map. In the early days of Modern Warfare 2, I remember a lot of teams fighting for control of the bookstore and the baggage check areas; as the community settled into the maps, teams would start locking down positions covering the restaurant, the terminal

Turian Soldier, Human Male Vanguard. Wish I had a Turian Sentinel, even though I don't really use powers with Sentinels; I just like throwing on tech armor and beasting with the Widow.

Oh. Derp. Easy to forget the master thief when she's cloaked most of the time.

Legion's death was probably the most impactful because you could immediately see the purpose it serves. For my playthrough, Quarians and Geth come together, and the synthetics have attained full, individually-realized sentience. They start referring to themselves in the first-person. It was a very emotional moment.

I feel like I'm missing something here. I saved the Salarian Spectre and was able to prevent the Hanar defense network from coming down. Or so I think. I received Spectre and Hanar/Drell War Assets for completing the sidequest. From what I've read around, other people are only able to accomplish one task or another.

As the result of such a massive story leak, I can understand BioWare wanting to mix it up but not having enough time to do so. This would present a wonderful opportunity for BioWare to please fans, but I really expect to have to pay for something like this.
