I reckon I recognise those legs as the Aussie Huntsman spider - pretty creepy to look at but in reality one of the nicest and harmless spiders you could meet. When I find them periodically in my house I usually cover them with a glass saucepan lid, slide a card underneath and ship them back out into the garden.
I love the AMX/3, but it's the sexy AMX/2 that really floats my boat.
