Let’s be honest... this entire issue is toxic YouTube channels ginning up a controversy for views. This is basically Rush Limbaugh for white nerds.

I look upon fellow men of the 80s as they bitch and moan, remaining disgusted by their sad baby-bitch behavior.

I always think of Kevin Murphy talking about all of the angry fans who sent him hate mail when he took over the role of Tom Servo on Mystery Science Theater:

*fart noise* you don’t seem to know how commercialism works.

Uh.....where are you pulling these “quotes” from? I have heard nothing from Kevin Smith other than how much he loved the series as a kid and is proud to be able to have adapted it. Also, he is apparently enough of a fan to know how to spell “Orko”...

It’s been a trip watching angry nerds lose their minds over the sanctity of their 1980's long-form toy commercials.

Tucker Carlson doesn’t get to call anybody else ‘son’. What a patronizing little bitch, who has never known a hard day in his life aside from being called an asshole. May he never know peace again.

David Simon:What that lying shitmonger should put up with for the rest of his befouled existence would rival the plagues of Exodus. Americans are dead because of his willful disinformation. Fuck him to locusts and boils.

Carlson seems to be quite a coward when he’s not in total control of the situation in his studio. I’ll bet he tries to act like a big man on his next couple of shows.

You love to see it, you really do. This should be the ONLY type of interaction Carlson receives when in public. And the cowardice to hide behind “my daughter’s here”. Is that how all republicans respond when confronted?  see also Ted Cruz.

Those the pin ad ones where the person playing it is always depicted as the dumbest person of all time?

Hopefully this gets the “KOTAKU DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT MOBILE GAMES” crowd off your backs.

I mean, it's pretty obvious though right? Games made from passion are always better than whale-hunting games.

And then Among Us was made by the Henry Stickmin devs, which makes sense really but also still blows my mind every time I remember

Old-school flash games were the predecessor to modern indies. You can see the throughline with devs like Terry Cavanaugh and Ed McMillen.

How is it dodgy flash games from the mid 2000s back when you only had Kb level connections are still better made games than most mobile games today?

It helps that I buy the heavy duty foil vs the cheap stuff

I just put a canola oil bottle in the recycling this morning. It was against my nature to part with a container (seriously, it’s a problem). I should have checked here first.

Another option I’ve used in a pinch--and I don’t recall where I first saw this idea--is to use a piece of foil over the garbage disposal to make a bowl, pour the oil into that, let it cool (or not, I'm not gonna tell anyone how to live their life), and throw it away.
