Of course Huell could find the good at the Salton Sea. That guy was amazing.
People that live in the desert year round in the middle of nowhere are a different breed, man. I’ve been to Salton Sea, Slab City and other places up round Joshua Tree where some characters live. Sometimes you’ll see full on off the grid homes and the like, sometimes trailers “protected” by old Army camo, etc..
The area was a sort of resort in the 1950s, with hotels and lakehouses and all the associated mid-century leisure stuff that entails.
Having spent some time four wheeling nearby, I agree. Its pretty nasty, though some of the relics and communities that have sprung up there are fascinating to me.
Couldn't agree more. This just looks bad, the textures work opposite of everything else in the game and makes it look kind of like an uncanny valley
This is the perfect example of Art Direction trampling a thousand times “Realistic Graphics” it looks ugly as all hell yeah its nice for some close up textures shot but actually try playing with that, you’ll want to gauge your eyes out
A strange lack of living creatures roaming around though. I wonder if life was disabled for this.
I would have said this is the dumbest “gamer shit” I’ve seen this week but over at Guild Wars2 they’re throwing a tantrum over a robot having smaller boobs.
ESPECIALLY Guilty Gear, where every character is a chatterbox during matches
Guilty Gear, more than any fighting game, is a series defined by its music.
“Shower of hot monkeys” is my favorite fake fighting game moved, based on a coworkers misinterpretation of “Beat it” and the line “showin how funky and strong is your fight”
I was *absolutely* expecting to find out the lyrics were something offensive/racist etc but...they just don’t like it? That’s it? LOL.
My first name happens to be May. And I’m super short. So Ive always loved GG May.
Y’know, when I saw “divisive song” in the headline, I immediately thought that the song had something inherently offensive (as in, racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.) in it.
You deserve all the stars but sadly, I only have one.
“So, instead of reflecting on themselves, they blamed the soundtrack.”
Losers always blaming anything but themselves.
Or you could just....I dunno, relax and not take it so seriously?
Sir, this is a Wendy’s
