What’s the point when most people don’t actually use 4K to begin with? Sure, the hardest of hardcore gamers do, but the vast majority of the 80 million people who own a Switch have not watched nor played anything in 4K.

Plus it’s OLED. That’s not nothing.

They certainly would NEVER give a new model for a replacement. They wouldn’t even give you a brand new old model Switch on warranty replacement. Most company’s warranty replacements are refurbs.

I don’t get this line of reasoning. The same resolution is the same resolution, and you can hold a larger screen further from your face.

I highly doubt they'd give you a new model for a warranty replacement. In my experience that only happens when there are no direct replacements on hand and refurb switches will be floating around for years to come.

Questionable ethics aside, there’s gonna be scalpers all over this thing. You might not be able to get one in that two week interval.

Honestly... THAT kind of advertising is acceptable. Ads during loading times are NOT ok... I’m skeptical that loading times can be artificially inflated to prolong ad exposure.

There is a difference between in world, passive advertising (what was in burnout paradise) and active advertising that interrupts the experience. I hope we can find out what these games are, so we can actively avoid them.

Driving games been doing that forever. Atari Pole Position had billboard ads way back in 82. 

Burnout Paradise had in game billboards that advertised real products that would change every month or so. I remember they had Obama for president campaign billboards too. That was what, 13 years ago?

Hmm. Where I live the unit price of liquor is equalized across volumes. IE there is no benefit to buying liquor “in bulk” to refill smaller containers.

Anything we buy in large quantities to refill a smaller package we call the Mother Ship. Better savings that way.
