Nah. Queer people have to deal with this stuff all the time - Wendy was being messy (shocker), and saying “No, you’re not my type” isn’t out of line.

Respect and disagree totally. Saying Wendy was problematic is an understatement, especially back around the time Brat was hot. Wendy was the definition of messy chaos influencer. She made it her business to be as disrespectful and gossipy as FCC regulations would allow. Brat saying she didn’t find Wendy attractive…
Wendy tried to take ownership of our journey of self-discovery and say Brat was attracted to her (attempt at a power move). Given how that set the stage for their interaction, Brat was well within her rights to swat both of those notions away.
HAHAHAHAHAHA I should be humble because I've got a job helping folks? Weird thing to say but I can tell you're rather upset so I understand the need to lash out. Anything else to add?
I think harping on that video with the Britney look-alike is silly. It was a lifetime ago, they were both super young and it’s not like he was the only person involved in its creation. That said, the distasteful part (in my view) is that he’s continued to talk about the relationship in interviews for the past two…
WHO ASKED HIM? He profited off Britney and Janets “downfall” for fucking decades. Stick to cheating on your wife, not vaccinating your brats and making boring music, Justin. Nobody gives a shit about your opinion on a teenage ex you exploited for profit.
Have any of the mental health issues she’s displayed (publicly at least) been any worse than those of male celebrities? Justin Beiber? Kanye West? No, and no one EVER brought up the idea of a conservatorship for those guys.
Like Kanye West? That deep end?
I’m not talking about all biracial people; I’m referring to one person who claims to be biracial, although his parents are both listed as white on his birth certificate.
I’d be...done...without my IUD, but I had the choice to get it (and to take it out, should I choose to do so!) . This poor woman has been a “danger” to her career, but not the people around her.
I assume you’re Black when you refer to the collective We that needs to decide whether or not she should be “given a pass”. If not, it’s not really up to you. Shaun King has a long history of people questioning his race. I’m not saying I believe it or don’t believe it but that’s the thing about grifters-people stop…
Yeahhh this is really hard to swallow. As a big proponent of IUDs and “hey try it, you can always take it out at any point” this is just the wooooorst. There’s a chance she could take it out herself if the strings are long enough but I would understand that being freaky. Is it weird to hope a local supporter of hers…
I don’t for a minute believe Shaun King is biracial; you know why? a quick DNA test would shut everyone up, but he’s never taken one.
the IUD...just...my goodness
to your husband, I would ask “what contribution, exactly, has Shaun King made?”
I cannot imagine the pain Ms. Rice goes through on a daily basis. She must feel as though she and Tamir’s memory is being swallowed by a machine. May Tamir’s memory be a blessing to her.
His reputation is based mostly of the opinion of shallow yet well intentioned white people who think they are “doing the work” by following him on Facebook. I’ve been one of them in the past. It’s not a good look.
You forgot the veiled references to abuse and infidelity. Clear enough to render a slew of ‘Oh, my goodness...what happened....are you ok.....you are stronger than this...” responses, vague enough to not be an actual allegation that would require backing up, and finalized with a round of “It’s in the past! Please…
I’ve been the recipient of a couple of these, and they tend to refer to a recent event. One of my kiddos had recently had to hang out with me at work for an hour or so, and filled out “My mom likes it when I: stay quiet and be good at her office.” Yikes!
gifs aside, here, this is evidence to the 'um it's about class now, not race' people.
