Are you seriously going to argue this point? Carlos Gomez was the best defensive CF in the league for 3 years, then he finally won the GG the one year he tore the cover off the ball, which was, hilariously, his worst season in several defensively.

Oh, and in 2011, Matt Kemp won the GG for CF. Matt Kemp was never anything but a minus defender in CF. But he was a hell of a hitter!
