@mutelight: Im old school. Kids now a days have it easy, back then you had to search and find your groups. Fserves, ftps, usenet whatever it took to get what you needed.

@Faxmonkey: You actually can view the video from a single completed rar file. It'll only be a short amount but it can be done.

You also forget back in the day when this shit started most users ran dsl with a 1.5mbs cap and even a worse horrendous upload.
