True. I prefer the lead balaclava.

I think we now know that Microsoft did indeed but a backdoor into Outlook.com security when it was being created do we not? That was the claim with some pretty specific technical accuasations behind it and Microsoft's didnt deny that basically saying "We do what the law tells us".

The phrase they use is "Microsoft exclusive".

In the UK it rarely stays below 0c and rarely stays above 30c. Therefore they're useful boundaries for discussing weather. Not only does it have the full range we expereience ringed by nice round numbers, it means we can say "Below zero!" or "Over 30 today" as a shorthand for pointing out that its unusually cold or

Officially we went metric in the late 1800s as part of the deal to make Greenwich the prime meridian. The French wanted to have it neutral (forget where) but we wanted it here. We and the US managed to lobby to get it to be in Greenwich but only on the agreement that we would join the metric system used by the French

Id put money on it being a streaming service. They have to pay for the service after all. You can pick up PS1 and probably PS2 games by the shoe box these days, running all those services and paying all those staff just to service previously purchased games is very unlikely.

Good post. And agreed, this is definitely a bragging list not a public information announcement .

Nice. I tried Chrome nanny but it was too strict. I prefer the timer idea.

Meh - first round release, they (nearly) all suck anyway

I'm in a great job at the mo, probably the kind of job I wanted to get into when I started work. But since Im the boss, than means I have fire people, make people redundant, pull them up when they make mistakes, turn down requests for promotions and worry about cashflow on everyone's behalf. Even dream jobs arent

My personal career plan

Try KeepassX. It uses an encrypted file that you can store on usb, dropbox, wherever. I prefer lastpass, but its great too. Free too.

ID theft mainly. If they get a password from, say, Ubisoft and its the same password as some old yahoo email account you forgot you ever had, which also has your DOB and mothers maiden name/favourite pet/first high school as its reminder questions, you're stuffed. Thats all they need to set a chain of events off which

KeepassX works well and has a compatible app, Keepass Mini, in the iTunes store, which I think is paid but is at least a one off purchase. Android has a free equivalent, KeepassDroid. What I did until recently was keep my Keepass file in Dropbox. That way I could access it via phone, tablet and at work.

Guess that's why weekends doing nothing are always over too soon.

DPI can spot encrypted traffic without knowing the contents, even I know that. See here. There's even open source software available that can do it, and no doubt the NSA are using something substantially better.
