Even with anti-malware & firewalls, PCs are far more vulnerable than consoles. The reason is very simple, you can do a lot more on PCs. They have more software installed on them which means many many more ways to compromise the machine, and importantly you can run executable code on them as a user. That leave social…
Nothing wrong with the tool, but its worth noting I understand the NSA are (apparently) automatically collecting all encrypted traffic as a matter of course.
Annoying, im in the process of installing a 7" tablet in place of my stereo in my car, but wont be finished this weekend. Maybe il stick it on hackerspace anyway at some point.
Depends on why you never played. If you dont tend to dig JRPGs then its not gonna change your mind. On the other hand if you generally like those kind of games but never got round to playing a FF game, then its certainly worth a pop.
Call me a heathen, but Halo just never did it for me. I played the first one on the PC, which admittedly was a late and wonky port, but I found it uninspiring compared to PC FPSs of the day. I then played Halo 3 for the 360, but again just found it uninspiring.
I'm off contract and intend to stay off. Nexus 4 cost me £250 (or thereabouts) and my monthly fee is just £12.
Just like Sinofsky and Windows 8. Poor launch, team leader jumps before pushed, Ballmer takes over.
According to Microsoft there are more Xbox users using it for mixed media than playing games alone.
There's some logic there, since presenting price is an issue. And you didnt include the Wii in there, the low price of that machine was no doubt a part of its success.
I think its fair to say that even if numbers end up neck and neck, the Xbox team will be happier from this generation.
Following a change in job/city/number of children (zero to one) I had to find a new routine. I used to cycle to and from work as my main exercise. Before that I did running after work (gym in winter/outside in summer). Now with the new job and baby commitments I've started doing a pre-work workout. I arrive at 6.30…
Nicely skating past the monster success of the wii there. Smooth.
Last time I went there sadly the roastery was no longer selling coffee direct, though that was winter so maybe they open seasonally. Still well worth going though for everything else that's there, including a few other good coffee places.
How does he do his roasting?
Nude Espresso this time, on brick lane. Though I used to live near the Maltby Row Monmouth roastery, which sold coffee direct on Saturdays. That was heaven.
A question for the commentators - I went in to my favourite coffee roastery in London a couple of weeks back and had a chat about roasting. They were adamant that roasting at home to a high quality was impossible without equipment that no normal person would have in the house. That included the pop-corn maker, which I…
We keep tonnes of beans and lentils around the kitchen, both dried and canned.
I think the same can be said for 99% of games. Certainly its no more childish than any other FF games that come to mind.
I brush it off every few years. I cant say I found it substantially better or worse than any Playstation era FF game. What in particular do you think has aged badly, save the low res backgrounds?
