Agreed! The last two cars I bought from the Mazda dealership were lightly used vehicles with about 20k on them. And they puuuuuuushed for extending the already existing warranty. "Oh, it's only going to add $20/month to your payment," and "Are you sure you don't want the peace of mind that this gives you."

Most jaloptastic? I think not given the price tag. Why should I spend 36 grand when I can buy a more jaloptastic used wagon from Audi for less than half that? This is a VW, not an Audi. Hell, not even a true performance VW. $36k? Ok, whatever.

Yes, I've seen how good Boeing's QA is. Those Dreamliner batteries don't melt themselves...

My concern is the safety. The more weight you cram into an aircraft, the trickier and trickier it gets to take off and land safely. Plus, if an airline is so concerned about saving money everywhere it can such that it crams people in like sardines, maybe they also start shaving costs on inspections and maintenance.

There are few things on this planet cooler than F-15 Eagles. Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.

You gotta let it go. Get up. Get going. Otherwise yer holding on way too hard for what is healthy.

Ha. Reminds me of when my daughter was an infant and the only type of motion that would soothe her to sleep was walking up and down our stairs. "Kid, you have GOT to be shitting me."

Currently reading this during the 8-10 PM slot. Let me tell you this: Putting your kid on a strict sleep schedule pays off goddamn huge. HUGE. Our daughter is 3 and that kid's eyelids snap shut on cue at noon for naptime and 7:30 PM for bedtime.

Brodozer. I like that.

Not at all. I'm just trying to visualize the situation and what could have been done differently in order to handle the scenario where a driver has near zero visibility into an off ramp that has stopped traffic.

Totally agree. As I was thinking of myself in that scenario I don't know that I would have reason to check that the lane was clear ahead of me, especially exiting at highway speeds.

I agree. At first read I thought, "dummy didn't look before merging." But then I thought about myself in a scenario where I'm driving behind a big semi like that in anticipation of exiting the highway. I sure as hell wouldn't expect stopped traffic on the exit lane either. I guess this is a lesson for me, too.

Even if she had been in the lane with the moving semi for a considerable amount of time before having to enter the exit lane, the visibility around the semi is near 0. In that hypothetical scenario she could have increased her follow distance and maybe gotten a better look before merging, but, still.

She just used up ALL her good fortune. Goddamn lucky to still be alive.

This needs far more love.

Ha. 1:15 is wheels up time. Every flight I've ever been on starts boarding 30 minutes before departure time.

Dat space.

You'll notice he failed to lock the knees.

It's true, your honor. This man has no dick.
