It is no surprise that track enthusiasts don’t want to shuffle a car well over 2 tons (soon to be over 2.5 tons) around a race track and instead prefer lighter, smaller cars. Sure, a car with a big V8 and effortless power and torque is fun for a few laps until the car eats through a set of brake pads and puts

Hell, my next door neighbor has at least five cars littering the street in front of our houses at any given time (and at least one trailer). He never parks in his garage and rarely parks in his two-car driveway.

My insurance guy was baffled as to why I had multiple cars. I’m like, is that really uncommon for 1 person to have more than 1 car lol. Like I know I’m not rich, but I have a car that will be worth quite a bit in the coming years that I want to keep running forever, and 1 that will just eat most of the miles.

It was quite the wakeup call to watch and learn how much of our system really just functions on historic norms.
And what can happen, or what will happen, when people get into it who don’t care about civility or norms.
Pretty fragile.

Because there weren’t two entrenched political parties back then. They did not foresee the rise of the two-party system 50+ years later (and what those parties are and represent has changed massively in the past 175 years too). There really were no political parties when the Constitution was written, just a bunch of

The courts are not meant to be partisan in any way, and at many points in early US history there were more than two formitible parties. Also, George Washington himself warned against allowing party line partisan politics to take over, so clearly it doesn’t something that was forseen to be eventually be an entrenched

I was a teenager in the mid/late 90s, I remember. Taylor is very different than N’Sync, 98 degrees, Brittany, Christina Aguilera, etc. In 2000, N’Sync’s biggest tour (No Strings Attached) netted $70 million in 82 shows. They aren’t even anywhere near the top 10 numbers for biggest tours in that decade (Rolling Stones,

“Innovation”? Nah, they just straight-up ripped off this guy:

Is there a better option?

You picked the VW Beetle of all cars?

even if they could stay at the airport, it’s an open air terminal. there are no walls, just a roof and some additional benches/chairs.

If failure to use airplane mode caused problems with airplanes, there would be strict compliance protocols. I would expect almost every single commerical plane in the air is carrying passengers who neglected to switch (I admit to forgetting from time to time). But, there are still two good reasons for this feature to

The most important thing is that Airplane mode saves battery... It stops your phone from trying to scan for signal every few seconds...

Can we also re-mention how stupid it is to call an EV a “Turbo” model?

Or maybe just drunk or easily confused.

Sounds like she’s a heat-seeking missile on the road, so best of luck.

Special thanks to all the teams that kept the logos on the side pods aligned with the track and not at the same angle as the sidepod, which looks awful.

One of the cool things about old 911's is that many have seen quite a bit of use. Cars that have been well use tend to need restoration (or at least some sort of refurbishment). Once that happens, originality goes out the window.

I dunno...I think plenty of folks like the Singer look.  I myself would want a 964 done to early 80s Carrera (non-widebody) look.

Southwest, motivated by the Spirit of profit is approaching a new Frontier of uncomfortable and pain-inducing seats!
