If you hit it again in the same direction, doesn’t it cancel? I swear that’s what it does on our BMW.

The scary thing is Porsche’s numbers are almost always conservative. I’d not be surprised to find a car magazine knock out numbers that are half a second faster.
Nope. They help seize the rotor to the hub!
Actually, he has enough money to buy not an Aston Martin, but Aston Martin.

In the US we missed an entire model cycle that Europe got. Sure, our cars were updated visually. But it was only a facelift, we certainly did not get the 2nd gen Focus that Europe got.
We just bought a heavily used E60 545i w/ the 6-speed manual. It feels more like our E39 than I thought it would. The iDrive, though, still makes me scratch my head...
I will tell you, the first change I made to mine was a solid rear engine mount. That $100 hockey puck fixed the sloppy shifting and did wonders to eliminate the overly soft feel. The steering still isn’t great, and the ride is a little floaty. But, I still like it (and like that I go weeks without seeing another one).
These offers have to be utterly preposterous to work. Like the Nigerian Price email scam, by being so utterly ridiculous, it filters out people who aren’t gullible. Even if only one in 10,000 people is Forrest Gump enough to take the bait, they’ve just found the needle in the haystack.
Anti-hipster here. I was shopping at TJs before the hipster term/trend existed. Its decent food that’s relatively cheap. Some of it is vegan/free-range/blah blah blah. But, you can also buy a rack of ribs there.
C30 with a 2.5 Turbo at 125K miles. Car had its ECU reflashed at 70K miles with a mild boost increase. Still running strong. One thing no one here seems to be mentioning is SYNTHETIC OIL ALWAYS on a turbo car. It’ll keep that center bearing much happier when hot or cold.
I’m not sure why, but it does. Even a one line message (“Stalled Vehicle On Right Shoulder”) causes people to slow to read it in my experience. And... then speed right up, blowing past the reason for the warning.
Yes, it’s this. If you look at the under rear deck shot at the beginning of the vid, there are a ton of high-voltage boxes under there.
BIN Price reduced to $19,800!
Yes, it’s a mess, and not a 930. Just a wide-body SC.
It certainly is sitting high. Plus, turbo flares w/ non-turbo offset/width wheels in the rear isn’t helping things, either.
There’s a reason its one of the cheapest out there.
Am I the only one who thinks the “Bob” in this photo looks like Bob Varsha?
Actually, they do make a distinction between early generations and later ones. 997.1 and 997.2 is a thing on the Porsche forums...
We’ve got one eye open for an LSX (must be an aluminum block) and T56 for a swap project. We’re budgeting about $4,500, we’re just waiting for the right person to back their GTO/Camaro in to a retaining wall.
