It’s the same thing with sports sedans - they get benchmarked to the M3. Always. Hatches/Hot Hatches get benchmarked to the Golf/GTI. Pure sports cars get benchmarked to the 911.

There’s brilliant, and then there is pandering to a base to make it through the primaries. I don’t believe half of these guys believe the crap that comes out of their own mouths, honestly. They are reading a script, and auditioning for a role, like any other actor. This goes for both parties.
