There used to be things called books, and you had to do all the production work yourself. Nobody whines about the way their imagined dragons look, but give them a target and suddenly people have several liters of whine to pour out. Cry me a river. I love the show and don’t need to describe how I got over myself to do

Did you watch some tentative debunking of these military videos? They actually have me putting my tinfoil hat on in that were these videos produced by the DoD knowingly, why? (for example:

So what we’re saying is 1 phone call or google search to a rando isn’t enough research to reach an accurate conclusion. Lesson hopefully learned. Will it be though? Click this link for 10 reasons why!

Well written Nathan. You know the writing is good when you don’t particularly care about the subject, plot, or characters but still find it compelling.

Last season should not have been made. They needed to wait until they had a good show on paper but instead they just ‘did it’. That said, there were some great moments, but the overall incoherence of the storyline in terms of art and arc was often painful.

Pretty much how I feel. She had so much promise and was really great as Cara. I wish she didn’t throw it all away.

I hope they don’t, just so that they can strike whatever new note they want to. I love Ashley to pieces but if you’re doing a new adaptation I would imagine having some sort of blank slate would be a good idea. I do like the idea of her as a side character just for a reference but in some ways this demeans her

I was hoping she’d get some good project to work on and this is a really great fit. Has she done anything since GoT? She was so shockingly good as Mormont. Ramsey seems like a good choice for Last of Us due to her emotional range. For a child actor she has that uncanny ability to be either sardonic or brazen beyond

Two victims of different species? Is that a double promotion or just extended paid leave before the transfer/promotion? I can’t remember how this works.

I like (hate) how somehow ‘franchises’ can sell off the rights to particular characters but reserve the rights to other characters. Personally I think it should be an either-or scenario: Either you have the rights to the material to do whatever you want with it, or you do not have the rights. The in-between here is,

My favorite scene is just after the bamboo flying chase: Li Mu Bai catches up to Jen Yu and offers her peace, touching her forehead. In one brief moment you can see Jen Yu let go of all her burdens and anger, but then she quickly picks it all back up again, determined to be powerful rather than free. It’s the darkest

Very well said iMODOK.

The soup containers *are* good, for all the reasons you mention, but they are in the end, plastic. Does anyone have a resource on this specific blend of plastic and what it emits under various conditions? The toxicity of plastics is still being researched but if any of the potential harms are true then glass is

Feel compelled to add my own tribute. Gemstone III was amazing and I played so so much and explored my sexuality quite a bit. As a dude, my main character was female (Awen Llavella, lockpicking badass) and I encountered many suitors and eventually fell in with a couple of RL army dudes who I think enjoyed having a

@BlueTARDIS I read this as it is basically always unencrypted between the phone app and the IoT machine and/or when updating its software. So long as you have hacked firmware to install it will always be vulnerable. One problem is that this is a hack unique to the IoT device, so kind of pointless for large-scale

If it were just the hoverboard then he should get an award, not a jail sentence. But it seems they’ve purposely conflated the ‘outrageous’ behavior of the hoverboard with much more serious malpractice in terms of unnecessary anesthesia (and etc..? not mentioned in the article).

If you’re going to reference an interview more than once as a source I think you should link it in the article. If I missed this link I’m sorry:

@Flytrap

@nov15-22 The handoff of transfer is inherent to the design. You can’t have a whirring mesh of satellites traveling so quickly across the sky without it. It’s a mesh with an algorithm providing the utility of a dedicated connection by having each node in constant contact with it’s nearest neighbors.

I like the fact that the lyrics sound like they were written in a hurry if not just pulled straight off the cuff. I believe the **must** have been going for that or they wouldn’t have mixed metaphors and changes of ... well practically it’s like several people of different languages wrote different verses the word
