I hate all of them, and lens flare too. I know that technically lens flare can happen on natural uncovered eyes. But it generally looks way different than what you see in video games emulating lens flare as if viewing the world through a camera.

Look, as a lover of motion blur, film grain, and the joys of chromatic aberration, this one hurts me a little bit.
you know what, this is a fair counterpoint. it does take a while to max out skills in this game but in my early goings i found that even just one or two points into the above attributes does wonders for a melee-focused build. that said starfield is all about choosing your playstyle so really, whatever works for you :)
Counterpoint: Instead of spending 30 levels to do this, spend 30 levels speccing into ballistic shotguns like the breach. Substitute the combat skills for shotgun specialization and ballistics, replace martial arts for the more globally useful gymnastics (combat slide, take less fall damage, better zero G control,…
I haven’t played Starfield yet and aside from maybe a quick tryout thanks to Game Pass, probably won’t, so there’s your disclaimer. I think it’s very interesting purely from the stance of the creative process to think about such a major and long-running studio having such an insular design process, as opposed to…
Yes. Amazing movie. Also be sure to watch Paddington 2 afterwards.
@levi I have good news for you... He spouts that line several times in “the unbearable weight of massive talent”. You should definitely see this movie because he plays more or less the same roll in meta fashion without the horror tropes. And also daddy Pedro Pascal is in there as well, as the biggest nick cage fan in…
“And the one that absolutely takes me out, aside from him doing the Halloween theme, is his character shouting “I’m Nic Fucking Cage” several times. I’d love for him to burst onto a movie scene with this line, just one time.”
The rats will find them!!
I’m thinking confirmation bias. We remember and record the times rats lead us to good loot but never when they don’t
I’m just going to hold out until cyberpunk and phantom liberty are on sale as a bundle
“A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.”
“Game Breaking” doesn’t mean the same thing as “cheating”. It’s still game breaking in the sense that it circumvents the intended balancing and structure of the game. It may not matter to you or people who choose to do this (and that’s fine, it’s your game!) but it is still, by definition, game-breaking.
if i was the dev i’d just leave this unpatched. i mean, the process to exploit it is a bit convoluted and if people want to do it then more power to them. others can just play the game as intended. it isn’t game-breaking in the sense that it crashes or makes the game unplayable, so why waste time and resources on it?
I’m just tired of every fucking game turning into Destiny.
i think it’s hilarious. these people who can’t make their own content are lame. wtf is “reaction” video to someone else playing a game? if that’s your content, bye.
I’m not yucking your yum but like I still don’t get it, especially considering the dust those figures will hide until the day you throw it out with how complex the designs can be, and I’ve seen like one piece figures that were like $2,000 and people were bragging about it
100% agree. I’ve been in EA since last July and have been watching it grow. It’s the only “builder” game I’ve been able to actually stick with. The Grounded team has really listened to its community and built something unique.
A little genuine fear is always good for a survival game. Still, I was traumatized by all the wolf spiders hiding in the rock crevices in that area west of the pond. Don’t think I’m ever going back.
It’s tech handicapped-to-illiterate people who have stock portfolios. That’s the audience. I know this because I work for one. He thinks the metaverse will be the next big thing because he’s viewing it as a way for facebook to diversify and increase their stock value. More broadly, you have people betting on it’s…
