i was going to say, anyone else, and i’d be concerned, but reynolds seems to have the ability to respect subject matter while still tweaking the more awkwaard bits and making the audience feel in on the joke. i trust him. Given how well they joke around with each other, maybe just have his wife as Daphne. and have some Read more

Dirk the daring is simply one of the best-looking characters ever to appear in a video game. Just a master class in pleasing character design.

Why does anyone voluntarily remove the calluses from their feet? They’re meant to protect your feet, whereas taking all of the out skin off seems like you’re all but guaranteed to create blisters at some point.

Uhm what? I think what you’re looking for is called a movie pal, not a video game. I was playing doom eternal last night and the developer could have just had a door open, but instead I had to go find a key. The resident evil 3 demo, they could have just given me the shotgun, but instead I had to find bolt cutters Read more

I made some pineapple chicken fried rice the other night. Unfortunately I added the rice/egg to the chicken/vegetable mixture while there was too much liquid still in the pan so the rice got a little soggy. Reheated it in a pan to crisp it back up. I make chicken fried rice every so often but this was my first time Read more

I agree with most of what you said, but come on, there are plenty of “non-youth” people in that photo. Boomers are refusing to follow the protocols, too. We had to have the talk with my mother-in-law last week and she’s a retired nurse. Read more

How many of these geniuses are going to come down with the COVID? This Spring Break picture was taken last week at Clearwater Beach, Florida, 3.8 miles from my house.

I made some beef flavored ramen with green beans and onions the other day. It was pretty good, but a little too much salt. I enjoy cooking, but after spending 15 years in the restaurant industry cooking before switching professions, I just can’t muster the same sort of joy of cooking. My partner also switched to Read more

Prior to things getting serious, back in late Feb, I was tired of running out of pinto beans when I just purchased several 1lb bags at the store and didn’t realize I had used all of them so I bought a 30lb bag from Costco. I moved to vegetarianism in the weeks prior and I’m learning quite a few new bean recipes. Bean Read more

I made mac and cheese for our twins and one of them, at least, ate it for dinner. That’s almost nailing it. (The other had a “peanut butter sandwich,” which is actually a PB&J). Whatever keeps toddlers fed....

Am I the only person who’s seeing that some people seem almost excited about the drama of this virus? In a Karen-like way?

An example, my own sister, who I swear probably wasn’t dropped on her head multiple times as a baby:
