You leave this poor man alone!

Immediately sprang to mind

ctrl-f “why not”

Also, the NYPD broke Thabo Sefolosha’s leg, but for some reason, sportswriters feel no need to mention that little detail.

Do you mind if a Marylander quietly seethes beside you?

I didn’t realize this was an edit. I thought she was doing a Funny-Or-Die type of thing.

I clicked on this article just to see this comment.

Amazing! LauraGlade has the power to discern what I do and don’t care about, even though she’s never met me, from one post on one website! Her superhero name should be “Racisma.”

I’m tired of going around the internet explaining the difference of being “cleared” of a civil rights violation versus being “cleared” of murder. On the one hand, I can see a selfish man who decided to take advantage of a woman who was incapable of resisting or reporting him. On the other hand, I can see a scared, lonely man who desperately wanted intimacy with the woman he loved one last time. From the Times article:

It’s considered throwing shade.* If you say that about a black person, you’re essentially saying that you didn’t expect a black person to be able to articulate a coherent thought, so the fact that you see one doing so is worthy of a compliment.

2015 NFC Championship Game toss-up. Either Ha Ha Clinton-Dix breaks up that two-point conversion, or Jordy Nelson catches one of the first-quarter end zone passes thrown his way.

Hey, here's an idea. How about you let us black people decide for ourselves what we need to be worried about, instead of trying to dictate it to us from the comfort of your white privilege?

Yeah, just look at how well the cops treated John Crawford. He didn't break any laws, and he oh wait a minute I just watched the video well that's too bad.
