Fair points, but you talk about Incognito's history of being kicked off teams, without acknowledging the fact that the guy keeps finding work. Obviously he does something right. From what I've read, it's because he will fight for all his teammates. This in no way excuses his behavior, but don't kid yourself, if this

I respectfully disagree. If I appear to be minimizing the situation, that isn't my intention. I am suggesting that people shouldn't treat this as an isolated incident involving only 2 people.

Ok, I will admit, I am stunned. How in the fuck is being a pussy and getting subpoenaed by the FBI worth the same amount?

I agree with your statement that no one should have to put up with this type of shit. I really do. But I agree with the OP that this should be put in context with other locker rooms. It's behavior that needs to be addressed and fixed, but to act like this is the only locker room that acts this way is ridiculous.

I love Gawker media, but I understand what you are saying. Commenting on journalistic procedures is fine, and helps the industry as a whole, but in this case the criticism comes from a site that doesn't follow a lot of the traditional journalism procedures itself.

Um, I'm pretty sure making it into the NFL is considered the peak of his entire football run.

Dankey Kang sounds like a type of legal weed one could buy for a co-worker.

Yep. Nothing says true and accurate like Fox News on a Sunday morning.

At least Dilfer's marketing directly targets his fans: people who know nothing about football.

I just wanted to add that on Raw just now, they announced an expansion pack for the WWE game so you can be more wrestlers. One of those wrestlers is Virgil, and when they announced it Jerry Lawler goes "VIRGIL?!?!?" It was pretty funny.

As an adult fan, I can tell you I understand its all scripted, but it's like a more interactive TV show. You get emotionally invested in a character and even though it isn't real, it's still very entertaining. Because a lot of time who is going to win is obvious, but how they get there is what I enjoy, no matter how

I have no problem with giving that wider berth. As a sports fan, there is something appealing about someone who says they are the best and backs it up. Ali is a prime example. Not everyone has to like them, but a lot of times, the arrogance that comes along with someone being the best is viewed more as a positive

I believe that was very much his intention.

This school is a couple of blocks from my house. I am not surprised this is who they find to interview.

But when he was being profiled about being a magician the author found out he was a golfer and all hell broke loose.

Yeah but I saw where a soccer fan (they would call themselves football fans, right?) mentioned that the sponsors on the jerseys cut way down on the time it takes a televised game to be completed, which could certainly be nice for some sports, so I wouldn't mind it so much I don't think.

They have way too big of a TV audience to give that up. I'm sure Raw and Smackdown will turn into massive advertisements for the network though.

What kind of blowback should Drew expect now that Phil has been suspended? There are a lot of crazies out there that are going to be real super pissed about this one. Already heard Rush Limbaugh bitching about it today.

I'm sure he'd kick an ass or two.
