Can not WAIT to see this! I’ll have to watch this alone, the beau hates horror movies ;(

I saw that. I loved the ending.

That was a great episode of Black Mirror, and Daniel seems super charming in this preview. I can’t wait to see it!

This looks good. I couldn’t place where I had seen the main actor (Daniel Kaluuya ) and when I googled him, realized he was on an episode of Black Mirror, which I really enjoyed. I’m not a big horror fan, but from the trailer, this seems to have more of a twisty/freaky vibe, which is what I like about Black Mirror so

Lately I find that I’m angry all the time. To the point that I forget why and I stop and wonder what I’m angry about. And then I remember that president trump is destroying america/our democracy and all of our lives.

I was in tears reading the comments, seeing pictures, hearing the speeches, I was scrawling down and read this comment about a guy saying something like this “I am staying today with the baby so she can go and march” and it made me so mad.

NAZI PUNK FUCK OFF!

Nazi Punks Fuck Off? That’s a classic Dead Kennedys song. Don’t just look up the lyrics. Go get everything they have ever done. Their entire discography is all going to be way too familiar and relevant.

I have a similar thought as well. Plus, in my silver lining, this will have shocked a good many people out of their complacency, who will in turn actually vote like an adult next time. Hoping so anyways.

I think it’s *possible* that the United States’ deep history of creative, subversive speech and civil disobedience makes *some* sort of difference in how the dismantling of democracy plays out. On the other hand, working against that is the tendency for us to take these rights and institutions for granted (see: not

Or the people who dont want to support all manner of horrid things such as racism and sexism can move forward and create a better world instead of wasting time trying to drag along a group of people who refuse to be educated ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think you’re right about liberals lacking energy. And I say that as someone who is totally complicit in that. I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately and one of the things I’ve discovered is that I just take for granted the fact that good people believe the same things I do. Like, “of course black lives matter”,

What is there worth trying to understand and engage with about people who, at best, have signaled they are okay with racism and bigotry?

The gap between Obama, a true scholar, a man of unwavering integrity, hope, a profound sense of what the word justice means, (see his nonviolent crime drug related charges pardons) and then the comparison to the vile filthy, racist, mysoginist, that makes a living off shorting anyone and everybody that he ever met.

I had no idea, and I was thinking it was a typo meant to be 4,000 and I was badly trying to do math and decide how many would divide out into each conquered country, and that was too many for my brain to handle. 10 times as many is just incomprehensible.

The worst part is that my school corporation wasn fairly progressive on sex education. No abortion info, but we were taught about contraception and not slut shamed for having questions about it. And I still didn’t know much about pregnancy until I experienced it.

You arent dumb, the education system is -against- young women knowing themselves.

With my first, I had PMS like cramps and nausea at 4weeks and figured that the bleeding was going to start any minute...Now...OK, now...And didn’t test for another 10 days because I didn’t know you could have cramping like that during pregnancy. Dumb, young me.

Right?! Isn’t that fucking wild?

I KNEW Matilda was real.
