I know. It just wasn’t obvious until the end of the article, by which time I was all excited.

So there is currently no disc/digital release available, and it’s not even in English?
Disappointed how? I only played Knight and Asylum, and I thought that Knight was a huge improvement over already amazing Asylum.
Oh shit...oh shit...oh shit...oh shit...oh shit...
InB4 all the PC elitists claiming how much better PC stuff looks...
I used to watch every new trailer when I was excited about movies, right until they started making tens of those instead of 1-2. They also show trailers in the cinema, and I’m basically forced to see those repeatedly.
It’s just that until recently, I didn’t even know that anyone enjoyed this stuff.
Well, why not watch complete playthroughs after the game is out then?
Pretty crazy, yeah. I enjoy things about 43x more if I didn’t see them coming beforehand, or even worse, saw the exact moment multiple times already.
Great. It does alter mine though.
Not in my experience. Every time I liked the general plot of a movie and went to see it without watching any trailers at all, I had a much more enjoyable experience than going “oh, so there’s that moment I saw 20 times already” every 5 minutes.
I fail to see why would anyone want to watch chunks of the game being played through when it’s releasing in less than a day.
Well, that means nothing to me. I have no idea under what circumstances and by how much. Benchmarks showed that 980 was sometimes even slower than a 780 Ti, so there’s that. Until benchmarks for this hit, there’s no way to know.
Can’t wait for benchmarks! If it can match the performance of two 780 Tis in SLI, then I’m totally upgrading. So tired of SLI and games not supporting it.
Thing is, you get even more disappointed if you played the older versions, partly because they were better, partly because you can really appreciate how little the gameplay changed despite all the years that passed.
Wait, the very VERY first? Because MW1/2 should be the ones to start with. You can safely skip the others though and get IW as well, as long as you’re ready to be rather disappointed :P
Yeah, I guess. And they could surprise us, which they probably are planning on doing at least to some extent. I just still think that it’s not a series that’ll bother creating a proper world with many planets and all that, they just don’t need that much story/background for a shooter like that.
Yeah, but then we just see them engaging some fleet. I think there might be some base(s) on moon or Mars or something, but that’s about it. Pretty sure there won’t be full-blown cities or colonies on other planets with rich thought-through worlds and stuff.
Actually, yeah, that’s exactly what 10 year old kids say. Thing is, it’s not related to CoD. There are players like that in every series you mentioned.
