Huh. I’m level 50+ in the game, and played alpha/beta extensively, but never saw any cheaters. Maybe I just lucked out? Then again, I don’t know anyone who saw any either.

Usually older games do, but a lot of new ones don’t. Evolve, Killing Floor 2, Arma 3, Serious Sam (HD updated ones) - all use Steam friend list to invite people to play. Heck, I can’t even find a game on my list that doesn’t use Steam in that manner. So you’ll be able to play, but won’t be able to invite anyone.

It’s not that, it’s that you won’t be able to invite them in the actual game.

How can you compare the two? One is a “F2P” multiplayer-only game, another is being sold as a single player campaign experience.

There are few games that support such a way these days.

Many games use steam for friends, though, and you’re screwed if you want to play together (invitations won’t work).

Well, that really doesn’t help when all the games you play are on steam. Likewise, if you’re on X1/PS4, you can argue that people could just play single player - I mean, those games are available, right?

Things is, most of the time the summaries reflected what the author meant perfectly. He hated the game and outlined its many problems? Bad score. Loved it? Good score. Was all subjective anyway.

Eh. I had a moment when my whole team died during defence, and I was left 1v5 with enemies already planting the defuser- ended up killing them all and made it to 99% when the defuser worked and I lost.
