McGregor is very insightful in his fight analysis. You can tell he’s a proper student of the sport.

I’d say Tate was more fortunate than lucky. I understand there’s a fine line there, but the 2nd take down Tate had on Holm was recognizing a small window of opportunity and seizing it with everything she could. She really had to stretch and put her whole body into it, which is extremely difficult in a late round…
I don’t know, I think they were desperate for a replacement fighter and Diaz was the best one available. It would be awful for fans to cancel the fight and Holms vs Tate (though probably the best fight of the night), isn’t nearly as much of a PPV draw as McGregor. It was just an exhibition fight anyway, there’s really…
Very fun to watch! I think McGregor’s a pretty good sport, he just plays it up for the cameras. It is entertainment after all, and either win or lose he’s a fun character to watch.
Diaz can take a good beating though; I’m not surprised McGregor had trouble knocking him out. Diaz got a bit lucky with the hit that fazed McGregor, but the follow up and submission afterwards was pure beauty.
Yes. In any fighting sport size makes a big difference. Especially in power, reach, and leverage.
Rousey deserves a lot of credit for that, plus raising the profile of women’s MMA all-together. It’s still a very young “division?” that should only get better with more time and talent. I still think Rousy might be the better one of the 3, but by a small margin. Hard to say who would beat who in a rematch, because…
Yeah, if Miesha’s taking someone out it’s most likely going to be a submission. It’s her bread and butter. That and her impeccable attitude. I absolutely love how fast her technique has improved. Losing made her better and I imagine it’ll do the same for Holm and Rousey. It’s a fantastic trio of fighters to have in…
I think McGregor just loves to fight. He studies fighters and constantly adds new techniques to his toolset. He understands the entertainment aspect of the business. A loss wouldn’t hurt him career wise, because it’s way out of his regular weight class. Plus martial artists love a challenge.
Holly’s a good athlete, I’m sure she’ll start working on her ground game ASAP after this loss. At least on her take down defense. Chuck Liddell had a great career with a similar style, but you just couldn’t get him on the ground either. Give it to Tate though. She’s improved rapidly since her last loss to Rousey.…
Whatever. The Browns would call that line up a success.
Foster would definitely be the lead back there, but they’ll still need a constant rotation. I see coaches trying to limit him to around 15 carries, which leaves a lot to fill in for a run first team.
What happened to Schaub anyway? It’s like he turned into a pick 6 machine over night.
I hate RBBC, but Foster would be a great addition to any rotation. He’s still highly productive, just injury prone. He should probably stay in a zone blocking scheme though. Denver maybe?
Yes, but they have fast food dim sum in Hong Kong so you won’t starve long.
What’s Donald Trump doing in the woods?
MMMmmm. This was like the moment I discovered Jessica Rogers. Wet pants and all.
If supporting NK hurts China’s trade with other countries, they’ll stick to the sanctions. Money is what dictates China’s international relations. They can’t be making that much from NK can they? And when NK is acting this chaotic, who needs a buffer from SK?
Back then you didn’t get asshole unless you had a carton of cigarettes and a bottle of mad dog.
