Definitely around that time.... early 80's for sure. Which also coincides with the prevalence of cocaine. Which is also what I use to explain many things from the 80's.

All I remember is something about high school, a water cooler, and cold/hot water causing the transformation. And it always bugged me out that his friends would ride in him when he was a car.
Did he add a turbo? I thought it was stock until the engine swap?
I'm just glad other people remember this cartoon. For so many years I brought this show up and nobody knew what I was talking about.. for a while I thought I might've just imagined it.
I don't recall KITT having that many fog lights. Either way, will she accept coitus as payment?
Remote, but populated, so there's hope. I've gone 4 wheeling there a few times.
This was no mistake, he's just trying a new method for fish sauce.
You don't have to spend a lot of money to get the results either. A compact point and shoot with a full manual setting gives you a lot more creative control than a cameraphone. Something like the Canon PowerShot 110 or 120 will let you experiment and only set you back $250 to $450.
I got round trip tickets to Paris for super cheap a few months after 9/11. Everyone was afraid to fly so they cut prices dramatically, and I think I paid like $276 round trip. Though, I also had to pitch to my parents why it was a good idea and explained how nobody is going to punch you while you're looking. The trip…
Yeah, but I need to find some river side property to park it first.
Are there any aftermarket suspension components for the car? Maybe some sway bars to tame the body roll? I love that interior.
I was actually just referring to the steering wheel, but from those pics I do like the interior of the w114/115 more. Looks a bit less cluttered and more pleasant overall.
A smaller version of that would be cool in my book. Personally, I'd like to take one and add some modern updates.
Are there any examples with an engine swap? A modern 6 cylinder would be a great upgrade all around, while providing smooth power delivery and increased mpg.
About time I've seen this car here! They look fantastic, are reasonably sized, and much cheaper than you'd expect. However, I have no idea how reliable they are, or how expensive they might be to fix.
When I had a motorcycle I used to always joke about getting a demon eating a baby airbrushed on the tank. I thought the audacity of it was hilarious, but of all the people I told about it to, only one laughed.. the rest were somewhat disturbed. I no longer have a bike, but there's still time for the dream to come…
Is this the beginning of an industry torque war? Any bets on who ups it to 1,000 lbs/tq first?
Maybe in Southern VA, but not much in Northern VA/DC Metro area. WV roads are much more fun, especially with their nice wide highways and 65mph speed limits.
Awesome driving roads?? What???
If you want to cut out half the time/work, and have access to an Asian grocery store, you'll usually be able to find already cut squid in the freezer section. Comes with rings, strips, and even tentacles. Tastes just as good too.
