c’mon now - they can be pretty sweet

Over 7000 ft, so it’s down 30% of the horsepower at the crank. What works well here? Anything with a turbo. Especially since I go ~up~ from here, not down, and at 12,000ft+, N/A engines just struggle. My ZL1 is slower here than a stock Camaro SS in Florida, and that’s just at my house.

Just like the 6000 public workers just fired in NYC over the same issue? Are they all fools wasting time too?

All the money in the world to buy a yacht, and the interior still looks like my grandma’s kitchen with a “everything must be brown and wood” color scheme befitting the 1970s era in which it was last renovated.

Honestly, I don’t even think it being from the sixties is to blame. Dr. Strangelove came out in ‘64, and that’s still one of my all-time favorites. I think Bullitt just needed, if anything, more time to build stakes and tension. Something like Blade Runner, or even modern slow burns like Get Out or Drive, feel like

I’ve been around firearms most of my life. I learned to shoot when I was 10 and later spent 20 years in the Navy, where I was an expert shot with both pistols and rifles. That said, I have never, ever felt the need to carry a weapon on me while going about my daily life.

I’m a gun owner, and I use it for target shooting and I sometimes take it into the mountains for large animal protection if I’m alone (I also carry bear spray as a first line of defense). I’m also a very even keeled person, not prone to emotional outbursts. But even I know that carrying a weapon daily only makes this

I’m really not a race fan, but to be honest something like this or just straight up rally racing has some of the most bonkers and IMO probably best drivers in motorsports. Being able to keep those cars in control at that speed on that type of surface is nothing short of astonishing. F1 is up there as well just because

Deja vu?

umm, no.

It’s not even an SUV at that, it’s a CUV.

If they are in your wilderness areas can they still be considered fake?

Someday something even worse than COVID will go around, and this legitimization of “I do-on’t wan-na and you ca-an’t make me” as a response to commonsensical public health measures is going to bite us even harder...

People who say this year is a farce are crazy. This has been the most exciting F1 championship in a long time. Someone aside from Merc could win the driver’s AND constructor’s. Two great drivers battling it out, tons of drama, tons to argue about as far as rules and risks.....come on people! This is way more exciting

It amazes me that people are so hung up on this. The difference is literally night and day, and as you said - you get to run better tires in the summer too!

I figure a set of snow tires costs an insurance deductible, and lets me run higher-performance tires the rest of the year. And I don’t have to creep around in the snow like Grandma Moses. Win-win.

I’m not okay with this.

How are touch screens not a form of distraction. People cant walk down the sidewalk due to having to look at the screen to see where they are touching. What about driving a car?

It’s a true bummer that anyone would define the time that they have left on this mortal coil by whatever Ford (or other product) they drive. Very few people will be wishing that they had a little more behind the wheel time of a GT500.

Wow. Where to begin? Are you, or have you ever been, a homeowner? If so, I would just love to hear how you’re still taxed today on the purchase value of your house X years ago.
