It may be time to realize that Dave is just fucking with everyone re this controversy, and not take all these comments seriously.

And then you’d get fired. And then you’d wonder if there was some sort of group you could join to protect you from this kind of situation.

It does make me wonder how much the affluence/relative power of the cyclists has to do with this. People that buy and use expensive bikes like the ones pictured in the first story are much more likely to have connections themselves, to lawyers and officials outside of the small-town mentality.

His mother and father were siblings.

He's identifying the client's class in the hierarchy.

Texas is a failed state. I’m sooo incredibly sick of these fucking idiots being allowed to pull this shit. ENOUGH. To bad he was allowed to walk away from the scene.

I didn’t get the part where it was mentioned that Colorado is the only state that has these problems.

Yes, tired of Colorado being a cross section of these people and van-lifers constantly accidentally setting forests on fire or completely destroying natural sites (whether it’s constantly rolling off of mountain trails or overwhelming hiking trails with their dogs shitting everywhere)

You’re just being disingenuous now. It’s fine to negotiate, it’s not a mystery why some people don’t. Emailing a few places is not the same as full on haggling either.

The day that UAW members are responsible for enforcing the law and break the monopoly that police have on state sanctioned violence your false equivalence might have some shred of logic.

out of alignment with the proper practice of having the state issue special license plates for undercover police officers.”
No, it’s a felony and the cop should be arrested and tried plus the department should be sanctioned for allowing it.  All the costs of the case should also be taken from the PD’s pension fund,

Oooh... a shoddily-built project car with a cooling issue and shitty rims for more than the price of a new Miata (which will be faster in any direction other than straight ahead).

Wheels look like they have the wrong offset, engine bay looks a mess. This doesn’t look to offer much over buying a new factory Five compenent kit ($20k per their website) and starting from scratch? ND

Thats the fallacy most people fall into - that you need to have it all figured out before you set out.  There is no need to get overwhelmed by options, just start and discover what you need as you go.  You’ll find the people that have been doing this a long time are no longer adding gear, but subtracting it to reduce
