It’s way too easy to get a motorcycle license and the nature of the tests don’t really apply to real world danger. I rarely if ever have found myself executing any of the moves needed to pass the test while riding in the real world.

Crown Vic.
I have a soft spot for the Morgan, but part of that is pedigree, plus it has the twin out front for style purposes. I think the appeal should be similar to having a bike with a side car. You lose the bike handling but your seat is loads more comfortable.
I am surprised these cars were found in the States. I assumed it would be far too difficult to get titles and tags and they would all be headed toward container ships for trips overseas.
Why do you keep going back to transplants?
Man…Try to pay attention.
“Let me guess: you live in one of the large, metropolitan, blue parts of Colorado. And you think that your large, metropolitan, blue “culture” is what Colorado is.“
If you actually off-road the difference in width between a Silverado and a Colorado is not an insignificant advantage and the shorter wheelbase leads to a much better breakover with similar tire sizes.
Agreed. He needed to say “keep off black bear period.”
It’s not a rivalry. We don’t want to beat you at football, we don’t see you as our cross town rivals, we don’t want bragging rights. We see you as a threat to our way of life and murderers of our culture. We don’t want to play you every year so we can beat you. We don’t want to play you at all, ever.
You are right, the turbo is fun to drive.
“I’d pay ten for that long before any modern CUV.”
If I put that much money in the market for 50 years it’ll be over a million bucks.
“But again, why have an asphalt road at all?”
I guess I have to ask why you prefer mostly useless front yards that are mostly covered in driveways. Also the trash will end up in the front yard on pickup day, so what’s the benefit there vs the alley?
But backyards are also stupid. You grill in the front yard, you get to know your neighbors, you become part of a community which leads to massive benefits like crime reduction.
We can do the same thing now and put the garage on the ally behind the house. Some cities are doing it and it makes for much better neighborhoods. Kids can play on sidewalks without worrying about getting run over by cars leaving garages and neighbors actually meet each other.
“I agree they are ugly, but in neighborhoods with small lot sizes they are the most utilitarian way to get the necessary 2x garage spaces for a suburban American family.”
It looks like a poorly built double wide with a porch and an add on garage.
It doesn’t matter if you use a Chinese app or any other for social media. The distribution of your private information has very little regulation. China doesn’t need TikTok to track you, they can just buy the data from Musk or Zuck. If you want to keep prying eyes out of your life, get off of all the socials.
