Sounds like a PITA. No system is perfect for every user. The US system isn’t particularly good for anybody.

I have one child. My house is powered by solar and I’ve worked from home for decades. I put about 4k per year on my car. I’m an early investor in the VOTE ETF (look it up), as well as several startups that are associated with energy policy. My entire career has been spent working on environmental issues.
It’s not at all impossible.
I think this opinion makes you a sociopath. It’s not a super unusual state of being. It’s not just serial killers. Plenty of sociopaths run the corporations who’ve worked so hard to make this mess. There’s zero incentive to compromise prophets in the name of climate if you don’t give a fuck if everybody dies.
This is not correct. Some damage is irreversible, but if we do not respond we will make the planet inhabitable. Many are going from “It’s made up” to “It’s too late” to rationalize not making essential changes.
If everyone purchased cars for your 6 reasons, we’d all have the same car and there wouldn’t be any marketing firms representing any auto makers. Cars are emotional purchases and huge part of that is the image the owner presents to the world. Musk IS the image of Tesla. At one point that was a positive, then he got…
Americans need to travel more. They would likely demand better infrastructure if they experienced a good system.
I had a similar thought but decided not to be mean.

It’s been a while since I took my EMT test, and I don’t remember the protocols for punching and kicking carjackers. I also don’t know the AMA recommendations on the subject.
Adrenaline is a thing. Check with them a few hours later.
A door dash driver rolling a gas guzzling sled???
Cars almost never blow up and spinal injuries are far more likely. Movies make us stupid. Peoples instincts are based on terrible movie writing, not reality. I know a guy who left his girlfriend in a car and ran for it after a wreck. The radiator had been perforated and was blowing steam. Too many episodes of…
Yeah…if we don’t stop celebrating dumbness and cruelty…Flormerica will turn Dr Strangelove into a prophecy.
Props to the first guy on scene who actually jumped in to help instead of just filming.
If you see an anti drug Florida shark campaigning against boy sharks who dress like girl sharks, rest assured, their closet is full of white powder and delicate frillies.
Note to anyone who ever confronts a scene like this...
Few cars compensate for driver stupidity more than a modern Audi. The overt stability (not just electronic but in chassis tune) is why they are often labelled as not being as engaging as other choices.
If you leave your gun unattended you are arming everyone but yourself.
