Well...
Well...
I wish you luck with the transmission. I suspect we will see class action avoiding service bulletins on the current crop of cars that are passing the warrantee period. This has been a pattern since they went to a CVT.
I think this is a lot of pointless handwringing. Interest rates are higher than what people are used to and the cars I have seen on the lot sticker for 70k and the dealer is not budging on price. Even with he fed money the cars are close to 20k over the average out the door price for American consumers.
Nothing personal but I don’t trust any dealership with inspections. They have no incentive to spend what it takes to make sure the car is right. Your shop might be great, but I know my guy will be working for my benefit when he goes over the car.
There has to be a happy medium...Maybe work your way up to a 2016 Lexus ES and be pimping that serious better leather Camry life?
This drives me nuts...Just insanely nuts.
But the Maverick has a masculine face only a mother can love. The first gen Ridgeline had the face of a minivan...Not even mothers love those, they just put up with them if they have five kids.
I think looks is a huge component of why the Ridgeline doesn’t get more love. Honda needs to make it more traditional and “rugged” looking. Many truck buyers are a bit insecure and need a jolt to their manhood along with the empty bed.
My ex wife.
Did you actually read it?
It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to hypothesize why she was that guest. And trying to separate the Alfa brand from the team brand is silly. You have offered no compelling counterpoint, you just want to argue against what is fairly obvious. For what reason, I do not know.
I live pretty close to Moab and even here most of the guys who put together hard core rigs are in it for the build, not the drive. They could be on Hells Revenge in an hour, but never go past the mall.
Some of this depends on zip code. Trailheads where people actually do outdoor stuff (biking, boating, climbing etc) are often full of softroaders because they get the job done and leave plenty of money behind for the other costs associated with the pursuit.
This site’s deterioration is mind bending:
She wasn’t there on her own dime. She attended the event as a guest of Alfa Romeo...Which you know, makes luxury cars...Now...Ask yourself why a luxury car company would have a relationship with a model?...Then think to yourself...Are models often used to promote luxury brands?...Then think to yourself...Is racing…
Do you somehow think celebrity appearance fee’s vanished in the last 10 years? I grabbed a random article.
Yeah...I buy cars with cash, but current EV’s only make sense to me as leases because emerging tech is going to crush their cost of ownership equation. I can see hitting the well depreciated used market for a crap can Leaf for the kid. But I am waiting for the right circumstance if real money is to be spent.
The problem with nearly every car mentioned here is the price.
This is a bit of funny math on the part of the writer. How many Hummers at a sticker price of over $100k did GMC plan on selling?
I would prefer a non FWD electric car. But the Mini was a good idea prior to the tax incentive changes. I regret not pulling the trigger back then.
