I drove a 3 last weekend. It feels heavy but that wasn’t the worst of it. The factory duct tape on the bottom of the car that was starting to dangle was difficult to ignore as was the terrible iPad dominated interior. I get cost cutting by avoiding buttons and manual levers, but they took it way too far.

I have driven a Bolt and I hated it. AND I have owned several GTI’s.

There’s a very high chance she was on the clock and charging an appearance fee to alpha to rep their brand.

I don’t have specific insight into Cara Delevingne’s income stream. But, many celebs make huge amounts of money for appearing in various places. There’s a good chance that race was a paid appearance gig. Alfa likely brought her in for brand promotion.

I totally agree. The smart play is to have interview access granted or denied in writing prior to the race followed by letting Brundles crew know who’s available and who isn’t.

If F1 and the teams are going to engage in self promotion by filling the grid with celebrities who are filling the grid for their own self promotion, it might make sense to have some clarity about interview access in whatever deals are made behind the scenes.

That might be too much lightness for the grocery and school runs. Some middle ground between a multi ton behemoth and a wispy kit car would be nice.

We now live in a world where a 900hp CUV seems so redundant and boring that I can’t be bothered to finish the article.

I actually believe in Rivian too. My plan is to buy one with interest earned from their stock (A method I have taught my son on larger purchases, buy stock now buy thing you want with proceeds). That’s going to take a while. I am not holding that much currently.

I see you are working hard to earn your spot in Valhalla!!!

I think “gun ballsacks” would confuse people. I don’t think the prosthetic penis people have figured out how to replace anything but the shaft.

Argh!!!

I fully expected it to be a GX/Prado/Next Gen 4runner as far as the platform is concerned. I wouldn’t imagine they would add another platform to their US quiver as the costs would be too high.

What’s the difference?

The tyoe I am targeting can not imagine a worse insult. None of your other insults would bother them in the slightest. Most of them would consider gun fanatic or lunatic or gun crazy as worthy of a high five.. But question the fact that all their swagger and their masculine identity is artificial and use an

I worked as a bouncer for a few years. I eventually learned to wield the power of don’t be a dick with expert precision.

The data says gun owners are 30% more likely to be killed by a gun than non gun owners. 8 of 10000 vs 12 out of 10000.

You are missing the point about the behavior of people who are armed and the escalation that occurs when a gun is present. When a person is armed they make different choices than when they are not. When a gun is pulled a conflict escalates and the chance for harm to all parties increases.

Don’t worry...This engine isn’t coming to pry your LS out of your cold dead hands. It’s going to get dropped into 3-4 generations of VAG cars. There’s a long tuner tradition from the GTI’s to R32's, Golf R’s, S3's etc where these engines will land. The transaxle/driveline path is already well known.

This isn’t going to be an “either/or” engine swap with an LS. Maybe one guy once will consider which to choose. The reality is this VR6 fits in VAG cars that are currently housing 1.8's and 2.0's. You probably aren’t a Euro tuner guy based on your post. GTI’s, R’s, A3's and S’3's are where this motor is going.
