Not necessarily true. But you illustrate what I don’t like about people who carry. Far too often they are mentally or physically weak folks with a chip on their shoulder.

True. Punches far less so..

Wait...Your wife is attacked “quite often?” How many people have to shot at this point?

Nice job of deflection.

Stabbing and punching aren’t the same thing.

Lemme get this straight…

False equivalency.

Or maybe there’s middle ground between taking what he wants and murder???

High velocity home protection is the dumbest thing in the world and you are just begging for collateral damage. My sister in law is planning on buying an AR for home protection. I am begging her to get a shotgun with appropriate shot (I keep my guns in a safe). She won’t hear it.  She watches tons of Faux news and

Is it authoritarians that enforce gun laws throughout Europe, or in Australia, New Zealand etc?

I don’t see the new Taco drivetrain as “downmarket.”  Quite the opposite.  The 4 pot turbo with the inline hybrid drive is a huge increase in power and torque over the current 4 Runner and have a higher production cost.

They historically shared the J12o platform and the J150 platform.  If the pattern holds they will again have the same platform after the next 4Runner model.

They all at one point shared the J120 platform and later the J150.

It will be much better than the L663 Defender. Toyota has been making a GX/Prado based LandCruiser for years in the US market. They just call it a 4Runner and while it’s long in the tooth, it is also really, really good.

Lemme see....

I never did MMA and the thing that would scare me is footwork while striking. My best punch is a left hook off of an overhand right. I am pretty sure if I set my foot to throw it, somebody would kick my leg and make me wanna cry. I have zero experience throwing punches with my feet square, I feel like I’d have no

An untrained person will have their chin up (been there) their hands will drop (been there) they will telegraph their punches (been there too) and they will stiffen when the see a punch coming (yep). If you train/spar with experienced fighters they will not murder you during this part of the learning curve because

I never fought MMA it showed up after my time.  But in wrestling, I never feared the 260 lb guy half as much as the 210 lb guy with fast hands and feet.

You are as wrong as he is. I’ve boxed and wrestled competitively. Enter the mat or the ring without skills and you are in the pool with pockets full of lead. Boxing is probably worse because depending on how merciful your opponent is, you might leave with a head injure.

You are way wrong here. My senior year in HS I wrestled heavyweight. I weighed in at 187. This was before the super heavy class. I often wrestled guys who were easily 50 lbs above my weight. I won far more often than I lost.
