They might not care what the GR sells for, but if they keep hearing the message “Toyota dealerships are gouging customers.” That message will stick. The specific model won’t matter. If that message sends them to another dealership first, it is bad for Toyota.

Seriously?

In 1922 significant numbers of people were still using horses because they didn’t see the ROI on those “technical marvels.”

Does it “fail” when every one they build is sold quickly?“

The cars listed in this ad would not compare favorably to a current gas powered golf cart. Considering how inept, inefficient and fragile they were they were not exactly cheap.

This was the will of Avis and he will bring vengeance for this transgression.

If you saw the insane number of desecrated socks and calculated the time required to desecrate them, you would know I easily hit the 10000 hour requirement.

It totally is a fun design. Which is great for Hyundai N cars and sport compacts on their fourth owner with a negative credit card balance.

I don’t feel dead inside and I think this “design” seems worthy of poo poo.

You just reminded me of how much I miss the bountiful pawn shops that seem to be on the edge of any military base.

This was clearly designed for one purpose and one purpose only.

I’m 6’3” with a 34” inseam, and had a mkIV a mkVI and a miVII and had plenty of room in all of them. The reach to the wheel and pedals is quite good for a tall with the seat pretty far back. The mini driving position is similar.

The Cooper is not a great short people car. I am 6'3" and I can barely reach the mirror to adjust it or hit the homelink button. I love sport compacts and I would say the driving compartment is on par with a GTI. You can raise the seat and move it forward but my 5'2" girlfriend looks like she borrowed her big

The whole idea of making a snarling kitty sound is juvenile to me.

Since it is a prototype I suspect very little of that interior will make production.

Hey Acura...Almost everybody hates your grill. Sure the beak was worse, but the grill is almost as bad as the Lexus grill. You don’t even need a grill here. Why double down?

The problem is Lake Shore Drive is functionally a highway. If it gets blocked too long the traffic consequences will be significant. There is really no alternative route to access the vast amount of public and commercial space that LSD reaches. In addition to being a highway it is surrounded by public land loaded

It looks great. I like the rear quarter view that goes all the way back to the 60's. And it’s not at all a falsehood that they only way a muscle car is going to compete with a Tesla minivan is to ditch the ICE motor.  The noise maker seems like a silly gimmick to me, but I am sure you can turn it off.

I quickly put the car and the picture on my “Things I don’t want” spread sheet and moved on.
