Counter attacks are apparently what is expected to beat him. I did manage to finish him after a LOOOOOOOOONG fight where I would rarely chip away at his health. So, possible without counter attacking but a pretty major pain in the ass to do so. No really hard, just super annoying.

That second Calamity Ganon phase was a huge pile of obnoxiousness in an otherwise pretty chill game.

This is weird. BTW, the Alan Wake soundtrack is pretty fucking good so it’s a bit of a bummer that music licensing issues would trigger the game getting pulled.

I spent a lot of time playing this series. The second one was the ONLY game I could get my then-girlfriend to play with me at all.
