[Hmm...I thought I posted this, but it seems to have disappeared. Anyway...]

I'm fat and started swimming several times a week last year, up to a mile and half at a time. It's been kind of...liberating. I'm actually a pretty good swimmer, and I've earned the respect of the other folks at the public pool just by showing up and doing my thing (even the super-competitive triathlete dudes).

@paperispatient: Totally! There's room for all eating habits in my world of shirt slogans! (Plus, veggie lasagna and eggplant parm...yum.)

What disturbs me most is the glazed look in her eye and the partially opened mouth. This is not a model who looks confident or like she feels sexy (at least not to my eye).

@abcdiva: Aww, Regina. (Seriously though, if "pants" is good enough for Stephen Fry, it's good enough for me.)

Wait...was she drunk *during* this interview? Because something seems really off with her eyes and her speech.

Sorry to ask, but has Reich actually abused a child? Back from what I remember when John Mark Karr "confessed" to Jon Benet Ramsey's murder, Karr seemed deeply mentally ill and appeared to have a massive disconnect to reality. [ETA: I'm not trying to armchair diagnose anybody here...but it seems to me like Karr may

@Tom.Cruise.Is.Weird: I think my mom has that pattern in her pattern box somewhere. Lady onesies never go out of style!

And to add yet another awful note to an awful event, International Solidarity Movement activist Emily Henochowicz has lost an eye after being shot in the face with a tear gas canister by the IDF during a demonstration in Qalandyia today.

@daradoodle: "But its important to remember that Palestinians live under this occupation every day, and are killed, injured, and jailed by the Israeli army on a regular basis."

@Zack1e: I honestly think it's hard to talk about mediation when one side is being systematically starved (literally) and deprived of infrastructure, medicine, taxes (millions of dollars each month is illegally confiscated by Israel), etc.

And for the upper body, Kramer and Frank Costanza did it first, did it best: the Bro...or was it the Manssiere?

A list of emergency protests in the US (and various countries around the world) to condemn Israel's actions is available here:

@WashingMyHair: I have no doubt that you're right about political leaders—both the Dems and Republicans are 100 percent committed to supporting Israel, because of the role Israel plays for the U.S. in the Middle East.

@Zack1e: What's new is that, for as horrific as this attack is, it also lays bare the brutality being experienced by Palestinians on a daily basis. And it is making more and more people question the idea that Israel should receive billions of dollars in US aid each year while Palestinians in Gaza are literally living

Let's play a game. Pretend for a minute that well-armed Iranian commandos boarded a ship, in *international waters*, carrying humanitarian supplies—water purifiers, cement, food, medicine, wheelchairs, etc—and proceeded to kill as many as 20 people on board. Then claimed "self-defense." Oh, and the boat wasn't

Nausea, vomiting, makes you want to crawl in bed and do nothing but sleep for three days. Why yes, Russell! Love truly *is* the universal migraine.
