King does write the worst sex scenes, especially when he tries to write them from a female perspective. To be fair, most male authors are terrible at this.

I wish there was an age restriction or term limits or something that got these old fucks out of the government faster. We need fresh minds. We need diversity. We don’t need old white men getting older but still in complete and total control of a world that is changing far faster than they can possibly keep up with.

Neo-Nazis aren’t a protected class. (Well, yet. I expect that’s coming soon from this administration.) Neither are abusers. So yeah, you could totally refuse to bake those cakes.

Thus the entire concept of protected class when it comes to discrimination law suits.

There is a part of me that wants to make a point by opening up a bakery that refuses to serve ANYONE who is in violation of ANY Biblical edict.

But at least I don’t have to hear assholes talk a about an undefeated season now.

I hope that the writers stay together for another show. Their dialogue rhythm makes me happy.

P.S. Amazon had a show that was similar to Veep called Alpha Males or something. It was surprisingly good. Not Veep good, but worth a watch.

JLD is almost certainly the greatest comedy actor in TV history. Competition would include Dick Van Dyke, Lucille Ball and Ted Danson.

I love the show, so I’ll be sad to see it go, but I’m glad that they decided that on their own terms. I can think of so many lesser shows that haven’t had the guts to make that call *coughBigBangTheoryGreysAnatomyOnceUponaTimecough*
