Are you trying to tell me that government subsidies supporting a specific market that doesn’t have the proper market to support said investment is a bad idea?

Hey, nothing on Ghosn? Where’s my Dead Pedal section?

7:1819 is the Nurburgring Lap Time...

A British energy drink founded in Croatia made in Austria recently released in US and UK which can’t really be purchased with, questionable financing, leadership, and history backing an American F1 Team run by an Italian with cars driven by French/Swiss and Danish drivers.

Someone should probably tell them to bring a crossover next time, since that’s what actually sells nowadays.

Coming from someone who bought a lightly owned low mileage certified 3-series, I can tell you I will not own this car for 1 day out of warranty. The Pre-owned warranty has already covered $5k+ in repairs for BMW’s lack of electrical engineering knowledge. Which saddens me because I absolutely love this car.... Its a

idk, MY 2018 would’ve been purchased in 2017, right? 10-15k miles/year doesn’t strike me as all that huge.

The F30 is on sale for cheap and so many “young” ones are available because they suck.

On the other end of the FS spectrum...

Range Rovers are status symbols for many people, and the last thing you want out of a status symbol is for it to be the “cheap” one. None of the other dentists at the country club are going to be impressed with your Sport, so what’s even the point?

The correct title should have been: “Cars no one wants to own for more than 3yrs....”   ;)

The tariffs are a bad idea,  but let's not think that the auto envoy in DC gives a fuck about the consumer. They just see a net decrease in profit since less cars will be sold.  People will be fired to goose a stock price and more of the midwest will tank. Jonny auto exec will still walk away a billionaire

Sounds pretty standard for a diesel truck. Light duty buyers are gonna be in for a shock the first time they get an oil change though.

The Ram 1500 gets a reported 27 mpg which is really freaking good for a truck that has the capability to tow 9600 lbs. To compare, my gasoline Sierra 1500 gets 18 mpg if I’m lucky and can only tow 7700 lbs

With all that torque and the fact that it’s a pickup truck, who the hell cares about speed. Towing capacity and using this thing as a commuter/work truck.

You’re really gonna argue that Tesla = the Fyre Festival and also one of the most influential auto makers of the 21st century? The second Tesla sold a single car, they’d already delivered infinitely more than the Fyre Festival.

neoliberal - free market, individualism, and oh yeah, lip service to some vague notion of equality

Businesses are not charity. Businesses are not family. Employment is a simple transaction, you are willing to exchange your time and labor in exchange for legal tender of a certain value... up until you are no longer willing to expend your time or product, or until the company no longer needs your services.
