If you feel like this was not a big deal you are too young to remember how truly horrible American cars were in the 80s. I still remember the first hot olds I saw with the HO version of this motor. Not a GM fan but the effort was noticed.

Sometimes you’re comfy on the couch, and it happens. You're already a little sleepy, just want to close your eyes for a second while it loads and BAM. It's an hour later

15 years from now. GM starts a new division called “Julty” selling Tahoes with angry faces. They sell great until a gas crunch happens.

Wait, wait, wait. You’re telling me. YOU ARE TELLING ME. That an issued piece of US military equipment doesn’t work properly in actual field conditions? How dare you. HOW DARE YOU, sir, besmirch the good name of...

And if it’s warranty work, then it’s a win-win and the Alfa costs less to own!

I’m wondering if the price also includes the water pump, timing chain guides and tensioner, and balance shaft replacement?

This is Jalopnik, GM is always bad here. GM makes affordable, manual, RWD sports cars? Their interiors aren’t as nice as cars 10x the price, so clearly they suck and are awful. I think GM could end world hunger and Jalopnik would find a way to complain about it.

Logic need not apply when trying to make a point.

Wait, hang on. I just want to make sure I’m getting this.

Wait, hold up. Those Chevy commercials told me they won the JD Power Most Reliable award. You mean to tell me those awards are worthless? What about those normal people and their important opinions?

only if by ‘following’ you mean “to have a credit score so abysmally low that only mitsubishi would finance them”

Good overall package. Will enthusiasts decrying the dearth of relatively affordable sporty manual sedans finally buy one?

For Sale: Great Car. Only $15,995!*

Ford buying Lincoln. In about 80 years you are going to have issues with stale product, misguided brand identity and increased pressure from the new Japanese offerings, which will lead failure to capture a younger demographic.

Since you’re buying a chassis from one company and a body from another and then either mating them yourself or paying someone to do it for you, it’d be titled as a kit car or “special construction vehicle.” There’s no safety regs whatsoever and despite the numbers built no safety nannies have banned them.

The Skyactiv diesel thread on the VW diesel forum is old enough to be entering high school next year. I assume it’s in the same place as the $35,000 Model 3.

The camping experience in the infield was... not ideal

Neutral:

I, however, do not.

Well, it’s not a replacement for mirrors, it’s just another helpful tool, like a backup camera.
