I don’t think a strand game technically needs to be multi-player. I think it’s enough if it’s simply about building connections rather than divisions. Less combat and more communication.

My wife has a Chinese friend from college in Shanghai that’s a whiz in investments. Once I asked him what I should put money in. He said “don’t invest in China, if you do, don’t leave your money there for very long”. 

They aren’t targeting microtransactions, they’re targeting the length of time that kids can play all video games in general. Some indie game with 0 mictrotransactions and made by a group of a few people would still be regulated just as much.

The problem is this doesn’t even really target predatory features which would be a much more sensible approach. It’s targeting all gaming for anyone under 18.

Here’s the most important tip: don’t bother on console. Yet again Bethesda has remastered another shooter without bothering to optimize the right stick for aiming with a controller. There’s really no ideal balance between input acceleration and sensitivity despite a lot of tinkering with the controls because the game…

Someone should sue 2K for their new game launcher which affects game performance so badly its nearly unplayable. The launcher also affects their old games which when I bought them it wasn’t there. I assume it is some poorly implemented DRM software that requires constant online monitoring of even single player games.

You buy software. If you use the term buy, purchase or “add to cart”, you are LEGALLY BUYING the software. This has been defined and enforced in court already in the USA (and it’s even better for consumers in most of the EU)
