I’m guessing, if they were described as teenagers, their age was known by the author. If the age is known, and the term teenager was applied, they were of age, otherwise the author would have used underage on the article, to upgrade this “celebrity scandal” from extra-matrimonial sexting to attempted statuary rape.

It doesn’t matter if people broke a law or not. Clickbait rags like this just want views and bored idiots want to gawk at mindless bullshit.

titanmatrix, did I miss something in the article? Why did brought up age?

Hate to sound like I’m defending an adulterer but the fact that he gets around doesn’t really override whatever point he’s making about the Overwatch scene. Nor has there been an influx of girls talking about him being a creep, and in fact this article seems to indicate they were very willing, which again says nothing

“Overwatch E-Sports Team....”

first person was NOT the best thing to happen to metroid. a capable team made one amazing and 2 mostly good metroid games that were not completely ruined by going first person, but I would not say going first person helped the primes in any shape or form.

Personally, I really wish there was a place where content creators wouldn’t have to be “prepared for the hammer” as long as it’s legal. Especially after you look at what’s popular on biggest porn sites. The same kind of place should be available for smaller-scale content creators.

It doesn’t have to violate free speech to be a jerk-ass thing to do.

So, without question, if Patreon wants to shut down all porn on their site, it is completely within their right to do so. And shutting down porn tailored to... certain subjects isn’t the worst idea out there.

I mean, crazy happened to me thrice. Could be in the process of happening to me again two times over but at least one of them is pro-active about seeking mental health care to the best of their ability. I’ve picked up my fair share of stalkers over time who I wasn’t even in a relationship with, too.

“That being said, I always felt that the moderation team was too hard and biased. They would come down hard on someone with a different opinion, to the point were it felt heavily censored.”

I’m sorry, but if you don’t think NeoGAF had a toxic culture you’re delusional. As this article pointed out, people were banned for supporting #MeToo. A personal friend of mine was banned for speaking up about the pedophilia thing because, to quote his ban message, “non-offending Pedos are a marginalized group,” and I

They’re slot machines in everything but name, meticulously crafted to encourage player spending and keep them on the hook.

Children do look at other children and accuse them of the same problems they themselves have. You just derided angry people for being emotionally invested in an issue, though your own response (derision) was also an emotional outburst: “Get a fucking grip, people. Jesus.” So that’s childish - it says more about your

Then you’re objecting to outbursts and not anger. That’s still how one responds to something, not what one feels about something. People are frequently angry and make good arguments. Anger has no necessary relationship to how one responds.

I think your highly limited definition of “anger” is creating a strawman in this case. I’m sure some people are, indeed, furious about these loot boxes, to the point of death threats (and all the other awful ways people express anger on the internet these days). Those people are terrible, and, I agree, childish. But I

Good point.

They are still covered in chocolate. Kinder surprises are sold as food. They have value other than the toy they contain, the same cannot be said for loot boxes.

I never bought these for the toys. The toy was sometimes fun to put together and play with for a minute or sit on your table as decoration for a bit before getting thrown away.
