Alpha is a prequel to even SF2. She was just a little baby back then. She’s been getting progressively more ripped as time goes on. Here’s SF3:

Now we know. Turns out that when people were screaming, whinging, bitch-moaning-and-complaing about unrealistic, unattainable body standards, they were talking about HANDS ALL ALONG!
Tumblr nose is real. It’s a thing, and it’s not a valid artistic choice. It’s not the same thing as what you’re talking about. Creating uneven skin tones to highlight certain features, or as part of a stylized cartoon, has been around for a long time. It only becomes “tumblr nose” when the artist compulsively uses the…
I dunno, if you’re talking about the rosacea it’s pretty subtle compared to most tumblr noses.
The trailer had both, though.
I agree. It’s a good indicator that the new Star Wars movies are made by people who aren’t interested in the coherence of the world they’re creating. They just want to have iconic images which reference the old movies in the same way that “nostalgia piano” does. The movies are made to look good in a trailer. It…
So has anyone followed up with the original forum poster whose complaint prompted this new pose, and checked to see if he’s happy with it and comfortable with his daughter seeing it?
It’s like the climate change debate. Or the evolution debate.
That’s the dumbest, hokey-est reason I’ve ever heard for not putting firearms in your fantasy underwater survival game. But I’m glad he made the decision nonetheless, because gunplay is kind of the “path of least resistance” when it comes to game design, and it’s great when devs try to build interesting game mechanics…
Well y’know this is written for stupid people so they have to have the dialogue this way otherwise they won’t get it.
You know how in Shadowrun, the more tech implants and pieces of augmented reality kit you attach to yourself, the more “essence” you lose? I think they were on to something there.
There were naysayers back in the 1930s who said that deep-sea divers would never be able to ride around on seahorses. There were shortsighted reactionaries who poo-poohed the idea of everyone going to work using personal jetpacks. People said the military-model Vespa scooter would never catch on. Conservative,…
Enough of these tight play mechanics and thoughtful level designs! I demand more walking simulators, confessional choose-your-own-adventure texts, and 10-minute “experimental” games about losing your virginity or making out with your dad! And furthermore I demand that kotaku cover said games to the exclusion of…
Yeah they’re clearly going for the look of a sidescroller from the Amiga era BUT WHYYYYYYYY?
This looks like the real deal. Not a fan of the overly pixelated art style but everything else looks good enough that I’m willing to tough it out.
There is no insta-death trap. The stress meter works exactly like a reverse hit points bar. When the bar has filled all the way up for the second time, you die. You will never have a heart attack until that second bar has filled all the way up. Nothing random about it and nothing even remotely vaguely unfair.
Why would you make my guys arbitrarily drop dead after all their hit points are gone? It's totally random and stupid that we can lose our characters because of something we have no control over.
The only reason it’s “rude” is because it draws attention to how cheap and crappy those chopsticks are, which would be insulting to the restaurant, except it’s their fault for using terrible chopsticks. The snap-apart chopsticks which are only joined at the top are fine, but the shitty balsa wood ones which are joined…
Apparently what defines a Souls-like is having a circular icon with little spikes sticking out of it in the upper-left corner of the screen, with a red health bar and green stamina bar to the right of it, and each of those bars has a little decorative pointy thing on the end. A critical aspect of the genre is that the…
At least you recognize that this is *clearly* a knock-off of Dark Souls in visual style, game mechanic sensibilities, and even graphic design and font choice. I agree that it can be a good thing to straight-up copy something and try to interpret it in a different format, like switching from 3D-2D. The problem I have…
