It’s a toss-up for me between RE4, RE2, and the REmake.

The thing about RE0 that always infuriated me is that you were tasked with managing two characters and yet there was no option for co-op, which would have made the game *amazing*.

I played the series from the beginning and I think RE4 is great. It *was* a scary game and its mechanics struck an excellent balance between smooth, fun-to-play action setpieces and a sense of impending doom. The opening sequence in the village is every bit as much a horror sequence as it is an action scene. There is

Seems like it. Not a fan, but I guess for a little plastic figure it’s a good style since it will fit in on the shelf alongside all the amibos, disney Infinity, and skylanders figures.

EA has the license. A Star-Wars flight sim would sell well for sure, but EA only makes games if it expects to make ALL OF THE MONEY. Even with the Star-Wars name attached; a complex, detailed sim-style game will never sell like Mass Effect or Battlefield. Plus it would have to either be PC-only because of the complex

I dunno. Given how many ships and upgrades there are, it seems like the game will still be pretty grind-heavy. Assuming you can run simple, quick missions over and over again to earn credits, I don’t think it will be that much different from other MMORPGs. Look at how Elite turned out: credits are effectively the same

“Roman Numeral 10-Wing vs Sideways Roman Numeral 1-fighter.” Somebody get on this.

Avion from Shadow of the Colossus. Has any other game done as good a job of portraying combat against massive creatures?

Hopefully they’ll give us a cool, androgynous-looking lead character who whines at his overbearing girlfriend over the intercom, and fights terrorists using spin kicks, cartwheels, and pirouettes.

You’re definitely using the wrong words. Pornography is a more maligned word, but all pornography is also erotica. What you’re doing is describing your personal boundaries for what you consider distasteful. Which is fine and I get what you’re saying.

Yup. I already don’t have (and can’t afford) a machine that can run VR games, so it’s kind of comforting to know that I *also* can’t afford the headset itself. Hopefully there will be enough moneyed early adopters to keep the tech going for a few years while it drops in price. Still, this leaves me somewhat

Reminds *me* of a bunch of other fandoms involving animals; to the point where I don't even have a best guess as to which fandom you might be referring to.

Yes. It’s called Wings, and there can be up to 4 people in a “Wing” (basically Elite’s version of a Party system). You have to invite your friend to join your wing, and they have to accept your invitation. At that point you should see an icon at the top of your HUD with your friend’s name and some info about their

Seriously? Have you seen any of the innumerable gameplay videos of the current build of the game? At this point there’s more going on in the Star Citizen alpha than we’ve seen in any of the No Man’s Sky videos, and yet nobody seems to question *that* game will come out and it’s already being heralded as a masterpiece

I think there might be something to that. Both Elite and Star Citizen are competing for gamers’ hopes and dreams for the future rather than selling them on a released product. Every time there’s a major SC announcement, Elite has to promise one more amazing feature that *will* be in the game later. And vice versa.

Yeah the Alpha 2.0 has really sold me as a proof of concept. It might be buggy and crashy as all hell, but you can see all the elements coming together and interacting exactly the way they are supposed to, and it’s damned impressive. This was always the part of their vision that I had been most skeptical about; that

Yeah man it’s way more fun to just take bites or tear chunks out of an entire loaf of bread. Sliced bread is more of a side-grade than an upgrade, really.

I’m expecting a life-altering experience which raises the bar for what is possible in games to such a level that all other developers have to reassess their priorities from that point forward. Which is what happened with the original Wing Commander in 1990. I’m expecting a leap forward in scope and quality of

It's time for an Inception pun! Good luck, everybody!

The Orca is a great battering ram, but yeah.
