Sorta agree although for this type of game I think the current choice is a better fit since most of the subtleties of the design are going to get lost and the OOT Ganondorf would have a fairly generic silhouette. I would have liked OOT's more butch-looking Impa, though.

Ganondorf is an evil wizard. Ganon is a giant pig-man-demon thingy. It would be really weird if someone made an "Incredible Hulk" game where you only ever played as Bruce Banner, and everyone just went along with it, referring to him as The Incredible Hulk, and no-one ever mentioned anything about this.

I was in favor of this until I saw the specifics. Looks like higher poly character models and that's it. The scrolling solution for widescreen support sounds pretty obnoxious. Why not re-do the backgrounds so that the wider FOV shows *more* not less? Hope this does well anyway. If Capcom sees that there's enough of an

The HQ4X filter *with* scanlines seems like a pretty bizarre choice, though.

You're right of course. I was referring to it's common usage. From wikipedia: "For example, there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whateverdebate was in progress"

I think from an adult perspective the Superman character is better suited to telling more mature stories about balancing responsibility, duty, loyalty, etc, and how you can't do everything at once or come up with perfect solutions no matter how powerful you might be, and how circumstances force you to pick sides. The

Some commenters have expressed their feelings that they 'funded' Rust and we're running off with the money. None of this sentence is true. We funded Rust for 1-2 years before it eventually became what it is. You bought early access to it. When you buy a pizza you aren't funding Dominos, you're just buying a pizza.

This problem would go away very quickly if review sites would review (and rate) Early Access games when they first go up, with an understanding that they will be given a full review and revised score at final release.

Fans should be a little bit pissed, other developers who rely on Early Access sales to get their games going should be more pissed, because this undermines trust in the entire system. Even if it's not actually bad, it *looks* bad, which in this case is the same as *being* bad. I personally am not a fan of Early Access

Thanks for the suggestions. I've heard of Dreadnought and GMOTA but did not know about Samsara.

I think the appeal of Brutal Doom over all those other mods you linked to is that Brutal Doom takes Doom and makes it *even more like Doom*. It's an amplified version of all the characteristics that are already in the original Doom games. The mods are interesting experiments in some cases but they provide an

Which mods are better than Brutal Doom? Why do people keep talking about how there are plenty of "better" ones without being able to mention even a single one? Please, recommend something!

I'm also seeing a lot of people *complaining* that Brutal Doom is overrated, while never really mentioning any other great doom mods too much.

Sorry to say that I agree. Concept art looked much nicer (why did they make his head and feet even bigger?), and I'm not thrilled about all the icons and giant "100%"s and other visual noise, which really detracts from the look of the game.

Cool I'll check it out. Have been wanting to try TPPI for a while now.

Men have the edge in trash-talking. Women are unable to compete at the same level when it comes to hurtful speech and threats. At least that's the only justification I've been reading here.

I doubt that would fly though. As long as anything exists which is "men only", it will be seen as exclusionary and unfair.

"The only thing I'd like to have for my server is a few more players. :)"

"People are going to have much more fair and equal access to servers, which is only a good thing."

Well if internet access and server hosting were free it wouldn't be necessary to monetize anything. I guess ISPs and server hosting companies are evil for charging money, too?
