It’s interesting that for years, indi devs have been trying to recreate Smash Bros success by focusing on mechanics and nobody gave a crap. Then they finally got the idea to make them crossover fighters with a bunch a popular characters and that’s when people finally started to really take notice.

That’s been my problem with FH since the beginning. I played the first, and enjoyed it because you start off with lower tier equipment. Since FH2, it’s been serious sports cars from the outset. It’s just not that much fun.

Depictions of self harm and suicide in VR are, at least anecdotally, much more triggering than non-VR depictions. I, myself, struggle with media that depicts cutting—I can’t imagine how I’d react if something like that happened to me in VR without warning.
